for the second seed, 4 12-4 teams: - elk, triforce, bucks, lions - elk and triforce best records inside of that group (2-1) - elk most points for - elk 2nd seed
for the third seed, 3 12-4 teams: - triforce, bucks, lions - all teams here are 1-1 verse each other - bucks most points for (bucks=877, triforce=838, lions=767) - bucks get the 3rd seed
for the 4th seed, 2 12-4 teams: - triforce gets 4th for head-to-head

would the two teams with the best record between the 4 teams ( elk and triforce) not just get the #2,#3 slots with the tie break currently going to the elk. then the #4,#5 going down to the teams with the next best record between the teams,
rather than when when the #2 slot has been decided the #3 team going back into the pot with the other 2 teams and the tie breaks starting all over again. makes a mockery of the 1st tie break being between all the tied teams

"your way" makes mores sense in my opinion.... but i think it works "my way" based on the state of the current standings.
edit: i just think the "logic" is programmed to calculate tiebreaks for one seed at at a time (the code is probably minimally more simple)
not so sure about that , the current standings Elk - 3-1 Bucks - 2-2 Triforce 2-1 ( until all teams have played the same games, wins count) Lions - 2-2 Freedom 0-3
The three tied teams are in order of points scored as you have put above, it doesnt need to come down to head to head between the lions and triforce as they are broken by points scored.
therefore the teams are arranged by my way of doing it, however if the triforce win then they will have a 3-1 and will tie break with the elk , giving a probable

I'm just pleased that none of the Zeta playoff teams will have a sub .500 record. Early in the season it appeared our 7th and 8th spots were both going to qualify with a losing record.
Thank you to the Cypriot Freedom and British Blitzers for turning that mess around. Now Alpha can't lay claim to the title of "better conference" until the championship game has been decided.
