the numbers don't lie

Just kidding. if the numbers told the whole story it would mean that we (Italian) would be Alpha champs right now. Not saying it's not possible, just that it'd be competitive

i haven't read through how the rankings are calculated, but it seems like there would be no way that you could use these to compare teams outside of the same conference

of course, you'll get bit by the dog if you come over here. That might make the falken look real bad...

Hypocracy disgusts me - especially if it's used to bolster your own ego. Weak sauce dude.

Now now, we'll settle this in the finals...

There was one interconference game at the beginning. Maybe that is where the comparison is taken.

I dunno, just chiming in.

that's included to get the numbers, sure, but one game certainly isn't enough for you to be able to say "philadelphia is better than kobenhaven because their rating is .5 higher"

all it seems like you would be able to take from looking at teams' ratings cross-conference like that is that zeta is more top and bottom heavy, whereas alpha is far more balanced. the standings and common sense support that. no alpha team has 13 wins, but 3 zeta teams do. only one team in alpha has under 4 wins, but 4 teams in zeta do.

AND that interconference game came in the 1st week of the season--this being an expansion league a lot of teams, ours included, were still finding their identities in week 1 offensively and defensively.
