I don't much about that stuff, I'm only the equipment manager. I will tell you though that poor Toric worked his ass off setting up the AI and the playbooks, they are not full of nonsense and it is certainly frustrating when the wrong one somehow decides to mysteriously load itself.

40 pages!? That's is f'n crazy!!! I am curious just to see what the hell you all are calling to have that many pages!

I believe the idea was to have something for every possible on the field situation we could think of but again I'll have to default to Toric, I've never actually seen the AI or the playbooks but I know Toric worked his ass off on them and was really stressed about how much time he was spending on them that off season when they opened it up. He was pretty much chained to his computer doing them for like 5 or 6 days.

I could only imagine. That had to be a helluva 5 or 6 days.

I think he has over 100 hours into those AIs

The size of it shouldn't matter IMO, if size creates a problem then there should be a cap on the size of the book


The thing is, he runs a similar version on several teams and has really only had problems with plays disappearing on those teams

I wouldn't ask you to go into what's in your playbook. There is just no way I could think of that many scenarios that would cover 40 pages

Toric: out of curiosity, what do you guys have set up for 4th and 17 down by 3 with 47 seconds left and the ball is on your own 33 yard line?

ya the AI is huge.. It fell victum to the AI bug that some of you read about.. it just LOST 2nd and long a few weeks ago..

and I do have a ton of hours into it. I was in the middle of a move when I found tht bug and got it patched. it's fixed now.

But we have had a few times when a run heavy book was loaded and a pass heavy book ran in it's place (so on). Support tells me that it has to be a mis load and out fault. but hell when you wake up and check that the right AI is loaded then go to work and the other book runs it sucks a nut. that's happened a few times..

and the book sounds huge but I am willing to bet that if 1/2 of you printed out your books you would see that 40 pages is not as big as it seems..

as for what all is in it. well it's rather basic.. it's designed to come back wen we are losing.. kill the clock when we are winning and stick with whats working when we are in a good fight.

IF the PLAY book would work with it and stop calling plays I removed from it would would be even better.

The books are designed to be fast changed for each team we face.. so i don't have to go through hours of AI design for each team we face... most of the time it's works as planned.. hehe most of the time...

You have to have a good team for them to work! LOL j/k Seriously, enough with the excuses already! I bet you wouldn't be complaining if that "bug" didn't cost you a game. Who's to say that the wrong playbook wasn't in before? You guys probably just won, so you didn't say anything about it.
