It is called European Russia, but it is not officially a part of Europe, it's just really close, and close don't count (one of the reasons wikipedia sucks).Also turkey is another country the is officially part of Asia.

The boundary between Europe and Asia is officialy recognized as the Ural mountains, which is IN Russia.

I love the Pats, i love my xbox, i love all of the music i listen to which is almost all American, i love all the American films i own.

Ok.

1. This thread is supposed to be about power rankings, not geography or international stereotypes.

2. Wikipedia is an extremely valid resource to use. It is based upon the Encyclopedia Brittanica, so it's got a very solid beginning.

3. Americans ARE terribly ignorant of anything outside of their country, on the whole. A personal anecdote: I bought a t-shirt in Prague that said "KGB: Still Watching You!" At least 15-20 of the students in my study abroad class did not know what the KGB was. And this was a group of college students at a good liberal arts school.

4. American and English really should be two separate languages, as they are quite different.

(I swear I'm not just backing up my team owner.)
