They have to get our O stopped in 3 downs first. That in and of itself is hard enough.

I think the bigger question is, Can you guys stop or even contain the #1 offense in this league? We are averaging over 110 points a game and giving up 10. That means we are winning on average by 100 points.

Not nearly as big as Longhorns v Heat. There is a lot to lose in being the #2 seed in the west while in the east it really doesnt matter where you finish up. Also in the West both teams are scouting each other while in the East one team is still experimenting and doesnt really care about the game.

seriously.. you guys (austin) have everything going for you in your favor. your stadium, a half a season more xp, sick depth, you have everything you need to win this game.

I don't know about that. We both have everything to gain from this game and I don't think anyone would be surprised if you guys won.

These teams are really close. Hoax is either being modest or attempting a vicious reverse jinx.

I might actually watch every single play of this game in detail two or three times before going to the next game. It should be that good.

So I reitirate - dont really care about the outcome of the game. Seeding means jack to us. But of course if you are still trying to build your stadium it may matter, after all, you wont finish yours for at least 2 seasons!

edit: make that three seasons considering you havent even built luxury boxes or finished off the seating!

Its a game...a fun one at that. Strategy based. Not win based unless you are uber competitive,and if you are you are bound for failure. The beauty of GLB (beta) is trying out new strategies,win or lose. The challenge is challenging yourself.

Edit-NYW went 19-1 last season on our previous strategy. We have almost completely reversed what we did last season to challenge ourselves and competitors in a new league. Not using the easy win exploit strategy that is overly employed by a vast majority of GLB teams,has brought new meaning to the game for myself personally.

Season 6 has been the best one yet, with old and new competition.
