it is serious. if i wanted to vote for players from the best team in every category i would have. instead i chose to look through the league and look for people who exceeded expectations and who did well given their surroundings. you probably have the best group of blockers in the entire league blocking for your kick and punt returns, why should i think your returns are all your doing? and at the same time, why should i pick someone from blackburn who isnt one of the best players on their own team for the all-conference team?
