Here's my opinion on these. I don't give a crap about fake stat records for pixilated guys. Honestly, doing it because everyone else is doing it is a worse offense to me. We run our same offense against everyone. I have never adjusted the offense against a CPU or rebuilding team just to get someone a leader board trophy. When I remember I try to get the backups in

I don't have time to tweak the depth chart for one game or run a weak AI to keep the score down. As the only one running my team, I'm using the extra time to scout an upcoming opponent or make the team better, not detune the team so someone doesn't get upset my team is running up stats.

I could care less.

You stole Hunts TD's/Yards bastard. I was ahead by a ton of yards and TD's then Turbo turned on the turbos and doubled me lol.

I agree with you to a point. The first couple seasons of my team my QB lead the league or was in the top 3 in some catagories this was due simply to a horrible backup once we landed our current back up which is almost identical My qb's passing yards went down but his efficiency went up along with TDs. We honestly try to keep run and pass as balanced as possible to keep every one happy on our team. If that means 100 percent against gutted then that's what we decide on

To keep a team happy you not only need to win, but you have to get everyone stats. As much as people say they don't care, they do. We're all guys and love stats.

If you asked anyone if they'd rather have a league championship or stats, I'm sure they'd all say the Championship.

You are correct. Unfortunately some people only care about getting every single carry and every single yard and every single TD. Winning doesnt matter, and if it does, they want to win if its a byproduct of producing stats. Me personally, stats are cool, awards are cool, they are just the icing that comes along with success.

I dont go out of the way as an OC to get people trophies. If they do, thats awesome, if not, oh well.

We have been burned in the past and could care less about individual hardware if we did care about individual hardware we wouldn't change our tactics at all. Yes when we play a CPU we will pass a lot as it give us the most points towards any tie breaker that could come up. But when our special teams scores a ton of points it takes the O off the field a lot as well and high scoreing games do get our depth more reps. Besides we only have 1 player leading the league in anything so I know this couldn't be about us

Agree with you 100% TA, that's the only reason to pad the score/stats! And we do it as well as anybody because when that final game of the season is in the books and you end up out of a 4th seed and any home field advantage by 5 points in a tiebreaker you will wish you added another 10% passing for that 1 more TD that would have put you in the #4 spot! The game is what it is and I for one will take any advantage I find to place my team in the best possible position come the playoffs! And if that means a player or 2 getting their stats padded then so be it because the last time I checked teams win championships, not 1 or 2 players. Scouting is just as easy vs the top players as well in that you just check their Game Log and throw out the 255 point, 500yds and 10 TD games vs cpu, slow build or just bad teams and look at the quality opponents they faced and scout those to get a real gauge on that players production.
