Yeah, this one is tough to predict, because for just about every team, things should be falling into place around this time. This means that the results of this week really carry a bit of weight. There is no question that both teams (Vancouver and Nebraska) will be throwing everything they have at the opposition, but it comes down to actual play and the effectiveness of game management. One team could take a big risk, and that could decide the outcome either way. We'll have a real good idea of what everyone's areas of strength and weakness are after this week...

I think the Blackshirts had a test week 1 against las vegas we were both pretty evenly matched i'd say and we beat them by 21...

Yeah, well, we're a lot better now than we were then... I hope we see you again in the playoffs.

I do. Game 1, still adding some guys, figuring out what we were going to do. Game four, resting starters, emphasising reserves, tinkering with the new energy tactics, playing less intensely, doing just enough to win, but really getting ready for the next game. Really, imho, for both the Blackshirts and the Terminators, tomorrow's game is the first real test. I am certain it's going to be a close game.

Experimenting with energy, strategy, etc. Sounds like you're trying to figure it out to me. We're still early in the year, only 1/4 the way through the schedule. There's still a long road to the playoffs. The only thing I have to go on for making judgments is what I've seen on the field so far.

Personally this game is more for bragging rights than anything else. Both teams will be in the playoffs - along with Las Vegas, Waterloo, Ketchikan & NY/CA. Last two spots to me will be where the interesting fight will be.

Whoever loses this game while I am sure they won't be happy about, should take solace that its highly doubtfull anyone from this league goes undefeated. To many evenly matched teams at the top.

Well, the energy experimenting thing is referring to the recent changes in energy tactics which it sounds like a lot of coaches are still tinkering with.

Yeah, there is a long way to go still. So win or lose, we will both meet again in the playoffs!

Yeah, I wish we had been able to play you in week one. You are definitely much more formidable now.

I've got Kansas City pegged for the 7 spot, even though it's very likely they'll be starting out 3-4.
