I would've. Running the Strong I Off-Tackle play the whole game is a tremendous glitch exploit, which the Triforce and WhatsaMatta U have apparently gone to... and there'll be plenty more victims on the hit list, until somebody can figure out how to stop it. Though I must point out that you both still got beat by BDM.

Check your playbook once again , we only ran the strong I off tackle around 30 % of the time
And had 256 yards passing at 9.5 yards a completion.
A Ball control offense is not all about the running.
