Looked at the game, especially the key plays that were the difference. The fumble return for the TD was a critical turnover, but if the fumble doesnt happen, the WR gets tackled at the one yard line and the half is over. That play was run at 0:02 seconds in the 2nd quarter.. would not have been time to stop the clock.
So in essence, the halftime score should have been 20-6 and not 20-13 as suggested.

Stingtalk went up and down the field at will in the 1st half and traded stalled drives with the Virus in the 2nd half. The Virus did have some success in the 2nd half, but nothing overwhelming to suggest that those two plays were the difference. The Virus got inside the redzone 4 times and came away with only 3 FGs. Not gonna win like that.

Im a fan of the WNV and Im definitely pulling for you guys, but you guys gotta turn it up.

Had we scored on the 2 plays where they scored on DEF, the game would have been much different.

You can say that about every game.

"if we they hadn't scored 255 points and we hit that FG from 27 yds, we would have won 3-0..."

Hey, you only scored 63, and if you didn't score except for a field goal we would have won 7-3.

I hate to agree with puppy, but it looks like the WNV had 160 more total yards, so it wasn't a complete blowout. However, turnovers and long tds are part of the game, so you can't say it was that close. The Dogs have lost several games in which we out gained the opponent.

Damn man, your right! That was one hell of a close game.

We knew we would be able to keep it tight. We just got a couple or more bad bounces of the football.
