I don't think you'll get wide spread interest from most USA pro teams. They sat on Season 2-4 reputation of being the elite pro league that is now gone. A matchup vs. OPL would be a lose/lose for USA. OPL would take em.

A lose/lose? How? They win and they can say they are the best all they want. Seems like a win/lose situation to me. Still doesn't mean they'll take it though lol

They already say they are the best, they would just be risking that status if they took the challenge.

If they already consider themselves the best, its a lose/lose. They have nothing to gain (already consider themselves the best) by a win, and they have everything to lose if they lose.

Pretty sure that is what he meant

I'm with Jdros on this one, I would love to play other Pro teams, no matter the out comes of the game it would be fun to play different teams you wouldn't normally play.

I may be in. I've volunteered for both the SA and SEA matchups already. I'm the only one scouting and gameplanning for the Convicts, so extra games I actually care about put a pretty big load on me.

For the first time in several seasons, they can't sit back on their rep with other Pro leagues catching up, even surpassing as is evident in scrimmages/tournaments. If they accept challenge and lose, then gone is their reputation as top league.

lose/lose..

Honestly, I think USA Pro would beat us, though not by a large margin.

Of course, the Rebel Yell wouldn't help, since they can't buy a goddamn win this season. We're pretty much an embarrassment.

Would the Monkeys accept a challenge from Tonga. Not that I think we'd win, but I'd be curious how we stack up.

It will come this evening. That's when I've got a scrimmage freed up.

We'd love to see you try and make that clear, real clear.... We're all tied up in scrimmages, looks like you will have one opening soon.

Let's make it happen. Coachv is serving a mini forum ban and we'll put it together.

going againt USAPL would be pretty cool just because we rarely ever play them, and it would be nice to see how we REALLY stack up, win or lose.

Honestly, we here in Barossa don't really care much about these interleague matchups, as we're more concerned about winning regular season games.

That being said, if you need an extra team to do this, we most likely won't turn down an invitation to a scrimmage. Of course, we would probably just use the game to test out some stuff to use on you guys, rather than try to come up w/ a game plan to beat them. Of course, we're not an elite OPL team, so you probably wouldn't us repping the league in the first place.
