if this is a response to my statement - I was just making fun.
generally, I'd like to make Pro Bowl rosters for each conference - I won't take the time to look over every team of the other conference but it's easy to take notes when watching replays of your own games, especially to jusgde non-glamour positions.
the other possibility would be to judge strictly by stats and I think that's not a good idea for positions such as NT, O-line or FB. the OT with the most pancakes isn't necessarily a Pro Bowl OT.
hope you understand what I'm trying to say...

I agree that stats should be a big factor for those not so glamor positions. But, I think we should wait a while to choose those positions till later in the season because some teams have had easy, high stat games while others have had to battle it out.
For now, lets just be on the lookout for those all stars who really stand out. I say that every owner should nominate one person for each of the "glamor" positions. That would be: QB, WR, HB, TE, DE, LBs, CB, SS and FS.
Overall, I think stats will be a big factor when coming up with the All Star Team.

I refer to them as glamor positions because they get more stats than just simply pancakes.
