Who had the 101ST?

That's the team I took over.

Looks like a mostly one man team owned by: http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=15047

He won Oceania AAA in Season 3 - then couldn't compete on Oceania Pro level so someone bought a team down here last year, let it suck to hoard up stadium $$, and moved the Oceania Pro team over here to rack up trophies.

Here's his old team: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=923

Wow great detective work. Oh and your right I wanted to get a team and let it suck. And if it sucks how do you hoard up stadium money?

Regardless, you have practically a CPU team then roster out of thin air with players that should be in a pro league but playing in A.

I was gone all day until just now but ricksta hit that one on the head. You throw a minimum salary crap roster (see Sayreville last season) together and use all $$ that comes in to build stadium up.

It's not a new idea bd - some call it cheesy but I just called out what I saw.

The QB on Naples Assasins (Ricky Cannon) owned 101st - they were a great team that showed up in Season 4 taking over a gutted team - did a great job with it and really competed well in Season 5.

Had the owner kept the team together (they broke up 'cuz he said he didn't have time to run it) they'd be the hands down favorites to win this league this season.

They gave us the best shot during last year's regular season and playoffs.

Lets see, season 4 my team went 12-4 in Oceania Pro and ended up being the #5 seed. In season 5 we went 12-4 and ended up being the #4 seed. I'd hardly call that getting our asses handed to us.

We could compete. I just got tired of losing players and not being able to recruit new ones. I didn't have time for all day recruiting. So I gave up the team. But it kinda sounds like a team in USA Pro. Didn't the Aces do the same thing? If I remember correctly they moved up to Pro and lost in the first round. Then the team was immediately sold back after that game.

How else did a team that sucked for 2 seasons afford to pay for that stadium.

When my brother bought the team the fan support was good. When ticket sales started for season 5 the support was 100/51/14. Obviously you can raise ticket prices with decent support. Just ask the teams that won last season. Or better yet just ask wsdp. He knows you can jack up the price with good support. Take a look at his stadium.

It's not cheesy. It's how your supposed to do it. Pay the players salaries and use what's left plus concession sales and build as many sections as you can. I don't see anything wrong with that. And yeah it's different than the way you did it cuse you went with the rich get richer path.

I will also fill you in on how my brother got the team as well. He got on the list and was trying to get a level 13 cap team. That didn't happen of course. We both had level 13 players ready to go last season. When he got the team and looked at the roster there was 2 players left over from the Dolphins. They immediately asked to be release from the team. The cash that was left was -500k. There was also an outstanding loan. He pm'd support and asked for help. They gave him 2 million to pay off the loan and have 500k left over to sign players. At this point we had these level 13 guys trying to compete with all you level 25's. All contracts that were sent out were rejected. Everyone knows most players want to go to winning teams and not a team with no chance. My brother sucked it up and didn't complain to anybody.

Just so you know, Im not knockin you guys for doing what you did. Honestly I could care less Im not even in this league anymore. You do what you have to in order for your team to succeed. You guys are smart for building the stadium the way you did. Also I completely understand you recruiting the way you have, well sort of. Recruiting is a pain in the ass. That's the entire reason why the Huskies started a farm team last season. Although we are still recruiting and we have other agents on the team.

The getting your asses kicked was referring to Sayreville last season, not your Oceania team.

Oh crap I totally misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry about that. I just felt like we were being slammed without any real reason in our opinions. That being said, Styxx your all class man. Thanks.

I hate recruiting - rejected contracts all the time, even to play with weaker teams for less money... alas, it's easier to just make the whole team yourself.

Check your history books kiddo - they got to the West Finals in USA PRO Season 4 and lost in first round of Season 5 - he announced BEFORE Season 5 that Season 5 was last season for the Aces. He didn't swap all the players to a low ranked league to dominate.

Again, you fail

LOL what bullshit? I told you everything that happened. And excuse me for not knowing the exact history of the Aces. I was under the impression that was how it happened. It doesn't matter because I'm not looking for your approval wsdp.
