Best team to come from A ball? Try again.

Great write up, other then that!

Sounds about right. We're not the same team that came from A you know. We work hard 24hrs a day to constantly improve. Hang on to the past baby cause the future looks bright in Decatur!

haha...at least we have a past! 4-0 lifetime against the Staleys!

I have no doubt that The Big Chief has assembled another fine group of Staleys.

Sydney is a very good team no doubt. I'm looking forward to the games this season.

11) Wellington Assassins: This team has a great passing attack, but their tackles are terrible so they may give up a ton of sacks, hurried throws and interceptions. Interspersed in the roster is multiple Zeta-worthy players, but they are plagued by not having enough players. They are my candidate to pull off a schedule much like Woolloomooloo last year and go 8-8 with a crazy passing attack for 6000 yards. Of course, as Ryann showed last year, you can walk and talk like Timmy Chang but you generally aren't going to win big games with Timmy Chang.

Please this pure comedy, we destroyed a few teams you have much higher then us. Passing attack? lol k guy

Not much respect being given to any of us coming up, we'll see how this season goes...

i see DECATUR as the only team you beat last season. and i'm high on DECATUR. i also dont know your gameplan, i just go by what i see on the roster. if you're not passing with that attack (i just checked and you run more), then you're wasting talent.

that is somewhat correct. i thought 3 of the 6 teams were good enough to make a ton of noise. but when put in a game against the top 4, i didnt see them winning. you can prove me wrong, but that's what i see when i put the rosters against each other.

i'm excited too ... i think we'll face twice this year.

as for the levels thing, like i said in the article, i'm sick and tired of people saying "builds > levels." that's true, but "builds and 3 levels > builds" ... people who say the former are too naive to realize that we also read the Goal Line Blitz forums and we are also in private forums and we talk about our builds incessantly. you may have a great build for a level 27, but i've got a level 32 and my build was just as good at level 27 as yours is, and now i've got 25 skill points on you.

oh and one more edit to the new folks. i wont do rankings after this. i generally do game previews, and they're a bit rare because of work. so dont expect rankings every game; i'll just write previews for like every other game or something.

Did you know that Sydney was 2-0 against Decatur last year, including a playoff blowout?

Let them think levels will matter, makes ever win that much more enjoyable.

59-3 was the score of that playoff victory, BTW.
But agreed. I think #7 is fairly low for Sydney, but it's our task to go out there and show them why we're better. I know we can do it.

Regardless, GREAT read. Thanks for posting!

I would like to chime in and say that the personnel on Decatur is very different from last season. This won't be the same team.

No your right, our "inferior" levels are clearly overmatched by your great 32 builds...

What the fuck is with the cocky promoted teams. Bend over and get ready, that's my only advice for you.

And we've upgraded at Sydney, too. You guys aren't the only one.
