We will turn it on once we get into the playoffs. I love A6, but I feel like we shouldv'e been outta here already. Teams like us, Mentone and Horde must all have similiar feelings on the subject, we want out after being here since season 2. I think there are atleast 5 or 6 teams in the West that could win alot of games in AA.

Should be a good fight, these new offensive AI additions will surely make things interesting and defense will be critical.

I think I have a secret crush for you and your team lol.

True Dat, most of the former A6 stop for a season or 2 and go up further...props to the San Fran Fire for going Pro.

Who's next???

Thanks sanmantodd. You guys have done a great job with your team. I remembered the team but not as a contender that year. I went back and what were you, 9-7 and the 8th seed? You have come a long way and deserve some credit for that as A6 has been tough and to improve to your level now is impressive.

I have already given Matt and crew their props for the improvements they have made. We were a 3rd seed but if you go back to the roster we had in the first 8 games it was completely different from the roster we had at the playoffs. Horde, Richey and ourselves were all very similar and any of us could have beat the other in those last 2 games.

Season 2 was much different than it is here now. I think we had, what...maybe 5 teams in contention that season? Now it's nearly the entire conference that has a shot at the cup.

I went back and looked at the playoff scores from Season 2. San Fran beat us 22-3 in the regular season and 30-10 in the first round of the playoffs. The losses didn't hurt so much after watching you guys plow through everyone in your way on your rise to the Pros.

One thing I remember thinking is how San Fran came out of nowhere midway through Season 2. Maybe I just wasn't paying much attention since we really didn't know what we were doing back then, but I remember being impressed that Blood and his crew handled business against Richey and Barb. I figured one of those two were moving up for sure that season. Especially the Horde. They had a fairly significant level difference on most teams and seemed to already have their act together.

I'm glad we were all able to put our differences behind us. Some of us made things interesting on these forums due to our short temper Good times...

alls i know is iam getting my boys from Bakersfield ready to start in a new league, last year ugh we had a better record last year 14-2 then we did 2 season ago 9-7 but the 9-7 season we went further into the playoffs that season.. and last year we got knocked out but our rivals. for those in the A6 who dont know yet. us and omaha have had a fun time knocking each other outta the playoffs.. 2 season ago, both games ended on a last second TD pass, first one was won by omaha in the regular season, and then we beat them in the playoffs in season 4, then last season we beat them in the reg season, and then they beat us in the playoffs. the games last year were not as close as they were in season 4, if im not mistaken, i may be wrong.. but since i joined as OC in season 4 when Bakersfield was 2-5, well including the post season, and not scrimmages. we are now 24-6 since the 2-5 start in season 4, i know there is probably better runs than that, but ehh.. and yes this may just be a game.. but it still is very popular and still can be nerve racking... well good luck to all.. im down blabbing. iam off to bed. peace.

I was just looking at the AA3 western conference. It looks like HIB and HBB should be 2 of the top 3 teams. I could easily see one of them moving on this season.

Twisters are always overlooked...no biggie, it's good being under the radar.

It’s not surprising; no one is worried about the twisters until it takes their home away.

And there’s going to be a lot of home taken away in the West this season….

S2 was way different than A6 has become and this extra advancement/regulation Bort did made it even worse. There are a lot of conferences now that have 10-14 teams that have been yearly playoff teams and a ton of great teams are going to miss playoffs in a lot of conferences.

I remember S2 very fondly. The Fire started out probably a tad below the Horde and Richey but we had so much turnover between game 1 and game 10 it was insane. There was only the 3 of us that had a chance to advance that season though. No one was going to be able to beat 2 of the 3 of us (Horde, Fire, Royals) in a row.

As I have said before, I am really impressed by the teams like Mentone Beach, SD Demos, and the Chicago Hedgehogs who were all 3 at least one step below the top teams in S2. Chicago didnt even make the playoffs that year, which means there were 8 teams better than them.

I dont know if we came out of no where. We were what? 13-3 and the 3rd seed. Losing to DVGDs, Royals and Horde I think. But we never stopped trying to improve the team with new players and that was HUGE back there when there were players that started early to mid S1 that were becoming FAs.

A6 was fun and probably the best time we have had in any league forum. I hope we can represent A6 well in the Pros this year.
