To be honest about payroll. With equipment upgrades being what they are, the highest maximum salary and bonus don't cover them. And I do ask that the players chip in on their equipment. So in the end for us in particular, payroll don't mean that much as I'm sure that teams with lower payroll still payout as much as we do in the long run, as we don't have to put as much in the equipment fund. Almost like the ole' "Bait and Switch" with recruiting and getting people to re-sign or sign. Make them think that they are making a killing, but they end up paying for most of their equipment

Besides, we do well and should have a projected start of around 40 million or so to start the season after tickets process. I would rather invest in the players and leave a little to invest in the stadium than visa versa. We'll be close to having the second tier of the stadium complete and completing the whole stadium for the start of season 7.
