I'm a tragically hip fan, love the new Oasis stuff, and Mastodon

Sometimes I forget that Oasis is culturally relevant after "What's the Story...". :x

Also, I'm catching onto Mastodon because of Rock Band 2 (rofl'd), since Colony of Birchmen is on there (AND REALLY AWESOME.)

I'm gonna get Leviathan soon by then, since my friend let me rip his copy of Blood Mountain.

My friend is from England (permanent alien resident) and apparently Oasis is the biggest thing there since The Beatles. I was pretty surprised. Considering the success Coldplay has had here, I thought that they'd be a bigger British band today. Imo Pink Floyd > both buuut...

Anyways, since I like every genre of music save country, if you sent me what genres you like the most I might be able to help out.

Tool, Marley, Jack Johnson, The Offspring, Linkin Park, NERD, Eminem, Limp Bizkit (3 songs), The Beatles, Blink 182, Pink Floyd, Ben E. King, Louis Armstrong, Breaking Benjamin, Gorillaz, Eve 6, Incubus, 311, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Moody Blues, Pepper, A Perfect Circle, RATM, RHCP, Staind, Smile Empty Soul, Trapt, Weezer, Queen, Clapton, and Chevelle off the top of my head.

Edit: Also, a small known band that I love is Defy. "Defy - The One" (moreover its remix) and "Defy - Is this life" are great.

I like the remix more though. Very well developed.

I'm also starting to like John Mayer
