Looks like we can keep up the rivalries and perhaps make new ones. Damn you Warriors......

We will have to see how it turns out but i will piggy back Dakar, Cairo and RMOG are not your typical Expansion teams. I think this new level of competition will make it alot more fun....

If the old teams want to change their name so they can get out of our shadow, thats fine. We are The Cairo Cannibals. Nothing changes

We shall see who the true representative of Cairo is as the season unfolds.
Bad thing is we can't even use initials to tell the two teams apart. Hehe.

I thought they would have moved the Cannibals to AAA since they won the most competitive A league in Africa? O well this should be a fun romp through the park.

Levels dont mean everything and these arent your typical capped league teams coming up.
Gonna be fun.
Speak for yourself. haha. Between RMoG, Dakar, and Cairo, the new teams are definitely going to shake things up a bit here.
I've been on enough promoted teams to know the old song and dance - the old hats think the new teams will be a pushover. They're usually eating those words by playoff time.
old money ftl. i think mayan and the waxers went through this same song in dance amirite?

Let's see how you do in AA first....I think you will find it a very overgrown park with pitfalls every couple of steps.

Do you know where any of these pitfalls are so we can avoid them? We got youth on our side. Younger, faster legs going against a bunch of grandpas and grandmas.

No way, 9/10ths of my fun is watching you find them yourselves!

This is great! Our forum is alive more than ever and without those Dointin Douchebags posting 25 threads about themselves every week. This should be a very fun season. (I'm pretty sure we didn't get promoted, so we should enjoy the fun this season).

I am sure some of the newer teams will make the playoffs, but exactly where they fit in at remains to be seen. Elephant was brutal last season and Lion was not real easy either.
Looking like a couple more of the orginal AA2 teams are having some issues as well, so it may not be as tough as it was, but we will see how things shake out when the preseason opens up.

These AA vets have no appreciation of what A1 was last season. That was the toughest capped league I've ever seen.

Here is the teams in Africa AA #1 Elephant now and their record including playoff games last season. I echo JefT@nk's sentiments, A1 was tough and at least four or five teams in Elephant would have won 90% of other capped leagues. A1 Lion was also tough and I know A2 also had some excellent teams. Owners, including myself, had prepared well ahead of time for the African expansion and it showed in the first few new African leagues in season five.
The big four promoters: RMOG, Dakar, Cairo, Swaziland.
Not to be overlooked promoters: Richmond and Sierra Leone Syndicate.
I respect the teams who were already here but I warn you - us six teams promoted for a reason, we can play and I'm sure I speak for us all when I say none of us plan on just sitting idly and loosing. We have all come to make noise and to win. The competition level in AA #1 has greatly increased. Good luck to everybody and I hope we all have a ton of fun again in season six.
