70 PDs to 26 tackles, the number of PDs and the ratio to tackles leads the league. 7 interceptions, 2nd in the league. 5 int return TDs, mostly against gutted teams, leads the league.

Stats aren't totally meaningless, they just mean different things for different positions.

Good PD:Tackle ratio is almost always good, but a CB with low tackles/PDs might not be getting thrown on at all due to good coverage.

Interceptions, likewise, can't just be attributed to the CB alone. It's more of a group effort between your D-Line (lowering the morale of the opposing QB and hurrying them), the opposing QB, and then finally the CB.

I agree that CB stats are awfully deceiving. Leading the league in PDs and leading the league in PD-tackle ratio is almost certainly a good thing, but it isn't necessarily, since it does mean you're getting thrown at a lot, and a deflection that is still caught by its intended receiver, a VERY common occurence in GLB, is still counted as a PD.

That said I am very happy with my CB's play. He's been a beast the last couple of seasons. And quite a few of his career tackles are on running plays. One time I saw he had like 19 tackles in a game and I was horrified because I thought he was getting beat, but it turned out 16 of those were on the same damn pitch play they kept running.

That's like mine.
