You should definitely be up in AA

If Chernobyl, EBB, Krakow, and The dark Knights all move up to AA, we can take turns beating up on the Sparta Battle Chickens in season 6

I would very much like that . Don't forget about the Rowdies though. I know they very much want to go up as well.

I'm still pretty bummed about that playoff loss, not so much that we lost, just the fact that if we don't get promoted, there will only be MORE bad teams in A next season (assuming at least 2 go up). We'll be able to just set our tactics at the beginning and pretty much go idle until the playoffs...

Great job EBB, you guys had a great season. Like Barnsie said, some of us may get to join you. Hopefully we won't get stuck with a bunch of cpu teams. ugh

Ya, I hope we all get moved up as well. There was a point this season where i hit the snooze button and coasted through about 4 games without changing anything. It wouldn't be any better without East Berlin and instead, another CPU team.. The only thing good about staying in EEA5 would be the active forums. I guess we will find out shortly who gets to have a competitive season 6. Does anyone know when?

I imagine we'll find out about 1-2 days into the offseason, at that same point the champions move up. Like everything else, there will probably be no announcement on how it will work, it will just happen.

they already announced how it would work but the problem is, there's no real way of knowing who exactly will move and who will stay. We know WHO the teams are in order(we can figure that out), we just don't know how many on that list will move. I'd be pissed if my team was the stopping point. I know it would be an easy season 6 but geez, talk about no fun.

It looks like these teams will move down from EE AA #5:

Yeah, and that isn't even the relegated teams. The team in 15th in Alpha is also primarily CPU. So that's 5 teams in Alpha alone.

Then you start to look up in AAA and Pro Alpha and you see a ton more CPUs, which will cause even more 'updraft'.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Overall, I think it will make next season very competitive for most, and extremely uncompetitive for any decent teams left in the A leagues.

I see at least 6 from Pro that will move to the bottom...

...at least 3 in the two AAA leagues...

...at least 11 in the AA leagues.

So, by all counts you will have 6 AAA teams fill out Pro. You will have 9 AA teams fill out AAA. Then you will have 20 A teams fill out AA. This doesn't include if there are any other teams sold or if they relegate the slow build and out leveled teams down as well.

So that would be around 3 teams per A league that would be promoted.

I will take a guess and say at the very least that the four teams from the conference championship games will be gone next year.

Which would be:

East Berlin
Krakow
Spanish
Brown Bay

It would shock me if anymore did but the next two teams to go from each conference would be:

Chernobyl
Romania
Belgrade
Targoviste

Don't forget that Promotion/Relegation happens before CPU teams move. So the worst 2 teams in Alpha and Zeta change out for the title game participants. That's 4 total teams moving up right there (EBB, Brown Bay, and the two from #6). After that, then the 3 CPU teams in Alpha and CPUs in Zeta. So that's Krakow and whoever was in the same spot as Krakow from #6. That leaves one more CPU spot to make up. I think the Disaster will be the next in line based on all of the tiebreakers. It looks like Zeta has less CPU, so I don't know Alpha only moves to Alpha and Zeta to Zeta, or if you could actually change divisions as a result of this.

That doesn't even count the effect that AAA and Pro has on AA and A. I expect to see roughly 3 teams in each of Alpha and Zeta move up. In a couple of cases it could be more.

well if it happens that way then it looks like Romania will be the odd man out. WHICH WOULD SUCK! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Keep the faith Ry. I know we're hoping too!

One other thing Ry. Since these scrimmage games really do count in promotion, it's very important that you win both. However, looking over at A#6 Alpha, who we're competing against with respect to promotion, both of the teams that are in our position lost BOTH of their scrimmage games.

That means, based on current tiebreakers, that it would go like this:

EBB and the Alpha Champ get promoted as normal
Krakow and the Alpha Champ game loser in A#6 get promoted in CPU spots
Disaster would be next on the list due to tiebreakers, taking teh final CPU spot. (assuming a win in last scrim)
Romania would be next on the list, ahead of any of the A6 teams, due to winning one of these scrims. (assuming a win in last scrim)

So you're right on the bubble, due to my math. If the CPU teams in Pro or AAA#2 cause even ONE additional team to move up from A#5 or A#6, it would be you. I actually think you can have OK shot.
