Yikes! I just saw that Manchester kicked the living shit out of the Punks! I thought it would be a lot closer than that. I'm really looking forward to the Inverness-Manchester game.

I already said on our team board that i was a little shocked as well. Sometimes stuff doesn't go your way and i think that today was one of those days. We played Boston late in the season and they are way better than what they showed today. I mean the way they played Bonn was sick and i expected a similar performance today.

But i'm obviously happy with the win and all the credit goes to our players for sticking around, for being motivated each season even though the past 3-4 seasons were pretty rough because of how far we got in the playoffs. Close to moving up, close to winning a title. We've been there. So once again thanks to our guys and now we're looking forward to our next challenge (Inverness).

Congrats to the Mob and Highlanders, season 1 teams that have been since day 1.

As for the Mob/Punks game... The Mobs TDs were all long plays except one 0.5 yd TD. They had TDs of 80, 71, 69 fum return, 47, 33.5, and 33 yards. That's pretty crazy and Boston put up nearly 500 yards themselves.

you represent alpha well good luck in the championship. Wished the punks had picked our game to under achieve not that I am taking anything away from your hard earned victory

BTW we won our scrimmage today easily with 0 changes to the offense AI....

Bonn's loss is really touching a nerve with our players if nothing else than the decisiveness of it.

How so?

It's called being in this damn league for 5 seasons now....dominating the whole season only to give up the ghost in the second round AGAIN! Not sure how long your team has been in this league but I for one am sick of being here. No offense to any of our friends here. Again the punks won and my hat is off to them but damn. I can't for the life of me explain how that happened....Let's just say our team forum is boiling over right now...

I can relate to that as well since Season 3 Birmingham was the Zeta Championship away from moving up only to lose to undefeated London Hitmen. Season 4 was a major disappointment after being a #3 seed and losing in the first round. Season 5 only loss in regular season was an OT loss and #1 seed in the playoffs in which the game was dominated only to lose the turnover battle to Stockholm in the first round again.

I am thoroughly convinced that Bort nerfs a lot during the playoffs on purpose so that teams have an opportunity to upset which I am cool with to an extent but frustrated as well.

Two seasons in a row where we took an early exit in the first round of the playoffs.

maybe we should coast into the playoffs as the 5-8 seed after 2 seasons in a row I don't want the number one seed anymore...

yeah punks put up some good numbers on us. but we did make a lot of key stops in the red zone. so limited them to FG's

was a good game to watch.

Congrats to Inverness. You guys have a helluva team. Not only did you kick our tails today. As I was filling out my All-Pro ballot today your team came up time and time again.

Good luck in the championship game. You represent Zeta well.

You and Veg have always led the way in the sad and petty department. With Veg being a needler and you just being a douche bag.

I'll give you one thing though, you have built and kept together a very good team.

This is indeed him. Reborn as a NT for the punks

He used to be a lot shorter though - he grew up to be 6' after the band dissolved...

Seems a little unnecessary. I don't recall ever having an issue with you. I'll give you a pass since today you guys have missed out on yet another championship.
