No, what I said was that just looking at stats isn't the best way to do it, even if you subtract stats against gutted teams.
Lots of things that are important don't show up in stats.

So for that reason alone we shouldnt do it? Alot of leagues do it, its fun and insightful...I also disagree wiht you about stats not telling the story. With positions like CB stats dont tell the story, but for DE, stats are everything.
