Wow not one upset in round 1 of the playoffs! I think that may be a first in our league.

That's incredible, not only because you scored the winning touchdown with 12 seconds left but because you somehow got to run 11 plays in 1 minute, 50 seconds. It looks to me like Dublin should have gotten that last first down anyway (http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=204603&pbp_id=10399872), but then for Lewisburg to get that many plays is ridiculous, even considering two timeouts. Seriously, how can the sim have someone complete nine passes in 1:50?
1:50 1st & 10 OWN 32.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Alex Black up the left side (7 yd gain) - supposedly took only three seconds before a timeout
1:47 2nd & 3 OWN 39.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Penns Tate over the middle (5.5 yd gain) - again took only three seconds before another timeout
1:44 1st & 10 OWN 45 Snake Armstrong pass to Alex Black up the left side (incomplete) - an incompletion only takes 2 seconds?
1:42 2nd & 10 OWN 45 Snake Armstrong pass to El Buble over the middle (2.5 yd loss) - took 18 seconds before the next snap
1:24 3rd & 12.5 OWN 42.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Alex Black up the left side (16 yd gain) - took only 14 seconds this time
1:10 1st & 10 OPP 41.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Penns Tate over the middle (13 yd gain) - now only 12 seconds
0:58 1st & 10 OPP 28.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Flashy Speed up the right side (3 yd gain) - fifteen for this one
0:43 2nd & 7 OPP 25.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Flashy Speed up the right side [deflected by Ferry Nentage] (incomplete) - 3 second incompletion
0:40 3rd & 7 OPP 25.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Penns Tate up the right side (11.5 yd gain) - only 11 seconds before the next snap
0:29 1st & 10 OPP 13.5 Snake Armstrong pass to Alex Black, hurried by Jeremiah Deacon, over the middle (7.5 yd gain) - 17 this time
0:12 2nd & 2.5 OPP 6.5 Snake Armstrong pass to El Buble up the left side (6.5 yd gain), PAT made by Los Kingfisher [TD]
Lewisburg made the plays and you can't blame them for a bad sim, but Dublin got absolutely hosed. There's no way that any team should be able to complete nine passes in the field of play in 1:50, even with two timeouts.

I'm sure it will be a tough game...as will the Loch Ness - Scorps game. 4 of the best teams in all of WEA facing off.

Yea great games all around. Hopefully we can sneak past Death Valley and get a chance at revenge against marcy for our only loss this year. Good luck to Marcy, Witchia and Death Valley (well not really Death Valley!).

Yea they've been in the game since I've played I'm pretty sure. And while some of those plays should have taken longer, hurry up offenses can get 9 plays in 2 minutes. Not sure about these specific plays, but it's possible.

You're kidding me right? You're saying a team can't go 68 yards in 1:50 with 2 timeouts? Twelve seconds is an eternity in football. Not to mention the fact that some of these plays were to the sideline for sure.

Yeah, timeouts have been around, it's just not announced when they're used. You can tell by the short amount of time between plays. That said, there is no way that any hurry up offense can run 11 plays in 1:50. If you or anyone else can find me an example of that ever happening in the NFL or college football, I'll admit my mistake, but I've never seen anything close to that. It seems absurd, and definitely poor programming.

68 yards in that period of time has happened plenty of times, but not 11 plays. Moreover, sideline time stoppages aren't part of the GLB sim. The time simulation is just ridiculous because incompletions should pretty much always take more than three seconds, and running another play after a completion should usually take more than fifteen.

Wow that is incredible. I didnt even think timeouts were implemented yet. Shows what i know ><
You're kidding me right? You're saying a team can't go 68 yards in 1:50 with 2 timeouts? Twelve seconds is an eternity in football. Not to mention the fact that some of these plays were to the sideline for sure.
Kidding your how? I said its incredible in this game to get 11 plays off in that amount of time. Yes I am saying in GLB it is the odd occurence a team gets 11 plays in that period of time. Out of bounds doesnt work in GLB as far as time stoppages.
If you want to get uppity and defensive I can dig. I was observing an observation.

Loch Ness had a run in with the Wildcat offense.
If by "run in" you mean an M1-Abrams vs. a domesticated kitten, then yes, you had a run in.

Now for the real reason we came here, Damn good game Dublin! You must have really learned from the first game, that last score saved our butts!

I have seen this happen in GLB a lot! three second plays happen all the time. I always thought it was weird, but it happens all the time. I think every team has benefitted and been hurt by it. So, to say Dublin got hosed in this instance may be true, but I am sure they have benefitted from it too.
And, and if you go back and watch the plays, count how long they take. Two to three seconds seems accurate to me. They are quick plays. I don't think Dublin got hosed at all on second thought.

The issue is that they should take more than two or three seconds whether or not they actually do. The only plays that short in real football are QB spikes.
