True. I just can't stand it when all this hype is made of Non BCS teams. Their schedule is typically pretty weak. Look at Hawaii last season. Great regular season and got dominated by UGA.

Well said Husker. Now that you've returned to thinking, i'll concede a little to. The SEC and some of the top teams in the Big 10, Pac 10, etc... are usually a cut or two above some of these lower conference teams. I wish there was a playoff in college because i hate the BCS... it should just be the BS. The year Utah went to a BCS game they had to play Pitsburg of all people. A no win game. They beat Pit... it's Pit. If they lose to Pit... it's the same bullshit about sub par teams getting into the BSC bowls. However, they killed Pit and they really should have been playing Alburn. Anyway, rant off.

LOL, not only did Utah win the fiest a bowl, they blew out their oponent. I was at the game at ASU's stadium and it wasnt even close. Urban Meyer was their coach then, and look what he has done with Florida.
TCU's only loss this year was to OU, and they got blown out 35-10. Doesnt mean the MWC doesnt have some solid teams. The MWC is 6-1 against the pac 10 this year, including wins @ ASU when they were ranked 14 in the country.
Oh, and heres a fun filled fact for you, HSKR. The Utes have 15 wins against BCS Schools. The MOST in the entire country. Utah beat Carson Palmers USC team in the vegas bowl pretty handily.
TCU, BYU, and Utah are all ranked in the top 25.... are the HUSKERS? I think not.

BYU should take a pretty big drop. Utah beating SC then is fine and dandy, but we're talking about the here and now. Just b/c ASU was also ranked 14 doesn't mean that they deserved the ranking either. Look at WVU. Look at Auburn. Preseason rankings as well as rankings before the OOC games happen don't mean a whole lot, b/c the majority of the teams don't have a tough OOC schedule. If those teams could play in the Big 12 or SEC and come away with victories consistently, then I may completely agree with you.

As I stated in the other post you called me out on, 6-1 against the Pac 10 is nothing to brag about. If you read reports from all of the analysts, that is one of the weaker conferences this season. Oregon has taken a big step back. ASU isn't who anybody thought they would be. Who else does that leave? USC, the only team who is ever anything in that conference. The Big East teams could beat up on the Pac 10. Terrible point!
Oh, and you have 3 ranked teams, in the top 25. The SEC and Big 12 both have 3 teams in the top 10, at least they did last week (haven't really seen the polls after Sunday). You know what? NU is nowhere near what they use to be. But they play a tough schedule. Have either one of the 3 teams you speak played 2 top 10 teams back to back?
