Just scrims? So this Tournament thing is not scrim? No matter how good or how bad our opponent is, we will always fight till the last second.

Just saying that the preseason games are time to tinker with new players, settings, etc. There has to be a time for that to occur, right? That what we use the "scrims" for. Just because we draw Brown Bay in preseason scrim doesn't mean "Ok, we got Brown Bay, so let's not try anything here, winning is all that matters". You can have our look at the most recent one where we didn't even attempt the game winning FG at the end.

Are scheduled friendlies the same thing technically? Yes, but when you throw the word tournament around it or schedule it as part of a competition, then it changes the way you approach it. That's all.
