I never even thought about this. I just figured the two championship teams would move up as usual. But you are right. There might even be CPL teams shipped down here. All these gutted teams and what not are going to have to go somewhere, and this is pretty much the last stop. Interesting times ahead. I think it will only get worse with more and more new teams getting added. With that said, if what you proposed happens, it really dilutes all of these BBB championships IMO, and many championships for that matter this season. But, hopefully it makes for a competitive season 6, as I know many people are really upset about the state of the game right now.


Many of the GMs for the Sin won our expansion league last year with a team, and moved up. It hasn't been easy, as we only have 2 wins this season, but we are almost a lock to stay record wise. I would be really pissed if we got moved back down again, even though we are trying and making an effort. If we were a bottom two team, then we should go down, but we aren't, and we just needed a season to get some levels under us to compete in season 6. Keeping my fingers crossed.

We found that out pretty quick. We knew it was going to be tough, and we weren't all about trying to replace a whole team of guys. We still have some holes to fill, but should do better next season.

For sure.

Since there were 16 new BBB leagues created, I was holding out hope that they'd just take the winners from each of those and form a new league...though looking at the league pyramids, it seems like the BBB #8 winner will go to Canada A#4...sure looks tough there.

lol, hopefully a lot of teams get promoted in A 4

I used to have an OT (who I retired) with the New Jersey Hood in Canada A #4

I had a FS on the Prince Edward Island Sharks in their first season.

I'm guessing around 10 teams will get promoted. That's how many appear to be gutted in our hierarchy. I looked over it pretty fast and could be wrong about a couple.

Canada A teams also formed mid-Season 3....the good teams have had a while to build.

You have to remember that those will be spread among the different BBB leagues.

If Canada A#4 promoted 10 teams then 5 teams would come from Canada BBB#7 and 5 BBB#8. This doesnt count the teams that get relegated which is offset by the normal promotions.
