He would set his offensive AI to punt on 1st down if he was winning by 70 points. Shouldn't we all be decent to the CPU players on the CPU teams? I mean they're playing their hearts out here...

I mean't if it wasn't points scored/allowed after h2h amongst the teams w/ the same record.
What else is there to look at?

Could look at record within the conference...that would take away the cross-conference random pairing where one of the tied teams faced the top team in the other conference and the other tied teams possibly faced lower level teams...this should probably be the FIRST tie-breaker...

looking at point differential between in games against the three best teams would be a good way to do it. Better than points scored and points allowed. We only lost to NMR by 2 while other teams our record got beat by over 20. Also our games against Northside and Alpine were closer than most.

anyway I can't complain we shouldn't have lost to Miami Roadfrogs and we have plenty of oppurtunity to make the playoffs. We just have to win 3 tough games. All three are winnable, but they are going to be very tough. We stand a decent chance if we beat just Miami and Minnesota.
I guess teams would hate it whenever the top 3 "experimented" against one of the weaker teams, lol.

This reminds me of when the big 12 had a meeting once a couple years back, and they were proposing ideas for revisions to the championship system.
Bob Stoops proposed to do away with the championship game entirely, and have the team with the best record be the champ. This was in the wake of his embarrassing loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 championship in 2003.
Mack Brown proposed to have the teams with the 2 best records in the whole conference play a championship game, rather than a winner from North and South. At the time, Texas was stuck in the cycle of not even playing for the title because Oklahoma would win the RRR and Texas wouldn't get another shot.
Dennis Franchione proposed re-aligning the conferences to East and West instead of North and South. The West division would have been Colorado, Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas State, and Nebraska... the East would have put A&M in the same division as Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma State - at the time all 5 of those teams sucked.
Funny how discussions about post season structure seem to degenerate into self serving arguments from each team...

I'd be quite happy if Alpine wanted to see if Julius could be a QB in tomorrow's game.
Please, feel free to expiriment. Who knows, we might actually score a field goal.
