After this off season we will just have one section left to build.

That is crazy. Are those accurate numbers or just the current guess? I can't imagine a lot of teams will be able to afford these huge jumps in equipment costs. We haven't even been able to pay out level 32 upgrades this season.

That is accurate as it is $800,000 per upgrade X 4 is $3,200,000

Then, at level 48, $3,200,000 per upgrade x 4 = $12,800,000

Good Game Inverness. You were close on the score just had it reversed.

Final: Birmingham 22 - Inverness 15

Good game Edinburgh, as I thought you just had a little too much for us. That will be the end of our playoff charge unless Bushy has a collapse.

Great game to you guys as well. Heck of a team you've got, and if not this season you'll definitely be in the playoffs next season. Best of luck the rest of the way.

I think players start to decline after 10 seasons, so I don't think many teams will be shelling out that kind of money.

Except for some slow-build teams, I think ted is right. It won't make sense to mortgage your team's future for $13 million a player when they start declining in season 11.

That depends on the rate of decline, though. If my lvl 48 in season 10 will be lvl 51 (or so) in season 11, but have the raw skills of a lvl 48-50 (and then a lvl 54 or so in season 12 with the raw skills of a lvl 45-47 or so), I might go ahead and pay for the EQ because they'd have those 4 points that wouldn't be available to the lower lvl player. It might be a close call.

I actually think we're both gonna lose out to Stockholm! :/

I had them discounted in my calculations on the basis that we beat them in our game...and we didn't

That'd be quite the turnaround for Stockholm after starting the season 1-5.

I wish I'd watched the replay before I checked the score... nice game for 3 quarters, Bonn.

On a side note... it's not too often that a play by an offensive lineman stands out, but your guard is pretty impressive here, WoC

Yeah, it was pretty tight and we eventually got a lead and some timely turnovers to seal the deal. As for my Guard, thanks, he is our "top threat", lol.

I love being overlooked. You guys have been come a long way and we've slipped up a bit this year. We still have a couple of potentially tough games so we're not sipping champagne yet.

Looking at the remaining schedules for the 3 6-7 teams in Zeta I'd have to agree that Stockholm will get the 8 seed.

8 Stockholm Syndrome 6-7-0 W2 - Aarhus, Newcastle, Whitchurch
9 Bushy Park Badgers 6-7-0 L2 - Birmingham, Paris, Endzone
10 Dungannon Crusaders 6-7-0 L1 - Newcastle, Bordeaux, Eurotrash
11 Aarhus Stingers 5-8-0 W2 - Stockholm, Dublin, Armagh
12 Bordeaux Carlin 5-8-0 L2 - Edinburgh, Dungannon, Helmsdale

Stockholm has a very good chance going 3-0 while Dungannon and Bushy Park in all likelihood go 2-1. Even if Bushy or Dungy go 3-0 to match Stockholm then Stockholm still holds the tie breaker vs each team and also in the event of a three way tie.

Bushy and Dungy have to hope Aarhus pulls off the mild upset of Stockholm, and either team beats their diamond matchup down the stretch, Bushy has to beat Birmy on Friday and Dungy would have to beat Euro on Sunday.

Probability speaks to the current standings actually sticking the way they are.
