Cowboys just traded for Lions WR Roy Williams, what now hoes!

Johnson should be able to win against the Rams, then the Buccs game is a toss up. I just dont see Romo missing the Giants game and anyone whose every broken a finger knows it takes about 2 weeks to get movement back which will put Romo right at the start of preperation for the Giants game. We might struggle through to our bye week, but I garuntee you we will be streaking at the end of the season once we are healthy again.

And we can manage without Pacman, Scandrick and Jenkins are an improvement over Jaquee Reeves and Nate Jones whom we were stuck with last year when Newman went down. Im more concerned about our safety situation with 3 of our top 4 safeties being injured and our offensive line where 3 Pro Bowl starters might miss the Rams game.

You know... there is a reason that 31 other teams didnt even want to take a look at Sean Alexander when he became a FA 6 months ago. Alexander is a fraction of what he used to be, and isnt a quality back any longer.

Roy Williams seems like the perfect fit for Dallas, high in talent, high in arrogance, low in performance...

Well, not much about the team he's leaving to brag about. Williams has been productive throughout his career and can you blaim him for wanting out? I dont think he has a poor character or work ethic, but he did go about things the wrong way... but every team has a few of those guys. Roy will be a good replacement for Owens in a few years and will break off the double covereage on TO for the time being. As I said on another board, you cant get good covereage on Owens, Williams, Witten, and Crayton whose now back in his natural position in the slot without leaving Barber and Jones lanes for huge gains. When healthy this is going to be a deadly offense.

TO is happy that he will see less double teaming. You pesky Eagles and Redskins found his kryptonite... but teams cant keep that up now with Williams oppisite of Owens. TO hasnt been getting catches because he hasnt been able to get open.

If he sucks then why did your Redskins feel that you needed to jam him at the LOS and keep him in double coverage the entire game?

umm springs had him shut down by himself, they started double teaming him when he got hurt because carlos rogers sucks ass.

he sucks because a GREAT receiver can get open whenever he wants, Look at Jerry Rice. he never had problems getting open

Redskins had a corner and a safety glued to Owens the entire game. And Rice had games where he was shut down as well, and was able to get a final 'hurrah' in his career when he had TO playing as a threat oppisite of him. Quite similar to TO and Roy Williams eh? (not saying TO is as good as Rice or that TO is going to get a grande finale/hurrah either)

well that is how you win big games then, shut down the #1 and let the other WRs pick up the slack.

Williams won't be a factor as much as everyone thinks

Sounds like jelousy to me. Your proving my point, yall shut down our #1 and the rest of our WR's arent good enough to get it done... so we go and trade for Roy Williams who is a proven #1 who is coming in to now be our #2 and is an established threat in the NFL. Not going to make a difference? He will either help pull that second DB off of Owens or Roy will be left in single coverage and he is capable of making the plays. Crayton is a terrible #2, but now he can be moved back into the slot where he is best suited for... and aside from Wes Welker Crayton is probably one of if not the best slot/#3 WR in the league.

We are definately going to struggle over the next few weeks, but once healthy this offense is going to be one deadly unit.

note: I did pick them to beat the Eagles... yall have drastically improved very quickly this season and are a top 5 team in my book.

and it doesn't hurt that that our next 3 games are the Rams, browns, and Lions 7-1 baby

you will lose one of those.

I hate being right

It's the NFL. I think people really don't realize how close EVERY NFL team really is. There isn't a match up out there that if played 10 times would go 10-0. Yesterday was an amazing example of that. So many close games where one play could have changed the result. Bears fans had to have had a heart attack yesterday.

The Falcons are good... WTF!!! Honestly, Michael Turner is a beastitch, and Matt Ryan isn't half bad. Not to say that the Packers should not have beaten them. Green Bay really needs to get their shit together if they want to make a playoff run. Props to the Falcons tho. Made the Packers' road to another NFC north championship a little easier.
