says a GM in Alpha I agree top teams in either conference could win, but I'm fairly certain Zeta has a slight edge.

While Alpha has improved a lot since last year when Foy was pretty much the only great team, the top three or four in Zeta are just ridiculous. That said, Vienna and Dublin both have a chance to prove something in that last week when they take on Loch Ness and Marcy.

I dunno - I wasn't too impressed by Loch Ness or Marcy in the preseason

Cardiff did play them tough and they do have good players, but preseason is preseason, and I can say from experience that playing Loch Ness or Marcy during the regular season is just depressing. Death Valley has owned us pretty consistently as well, and now I have to worry about Wichita too. The upside is that when you beat one of them, you feel that much more awesome.

you're right, that is odd

exactly - we didn't game plan that hard and we still beat you.

not much has changed since then - we were thinking that we would have a good season if we went 12-4; whereas I'm sure you expected to only lose a game at the most. Looks like we are both on track for our projections.

Edit: Nothing good would have come from this.

Let me rephrase. Losable games. We never "expect" to lose =)

Thanks for including us in there, but you never thought for a second that you'd lose to us, and frankly, neither did we. Doesn't mean we don't give it our best shot, but we're not realistically in your league yet.

Well...at least that game got this forum to rise from the ashes if anything.
