Zeta is still better than Alpha.

And I still don't really believe the better team won that game.

And for the last time we didn't boost anyone for that game. At all.

What do you mean the better team didn't win? What did the refs blow the game? That's weak dude. Bottom line, thier players played better than yours today. Doesn't mean they are better, but they did play better on this day.

I'm not saying they didn't play better today. 5 fumbles lost is embarrassing. I just don't think they're the better team.

They were today. All that matters is who did more to win. They did. You blame it on the fumbles. I say they forced the fumbles. You can argue ifs all you want. They won today though. It isn't an if, it is a fact. they have facts, you have ifs.

It looks like you're trying to find an argument I'm not making. Nowhere did I say the fumbles weren't our fault. Chill dude.

Bottom Line......a win is a win is a win....weather it's 10 points or 1....5 fumbles,missed field goal, bad call, I couldn't find my jock...I lost my helmet, the sun was to bright....I had my period....What ever...pre season...scrimmage or a regular season game....a win is a win is a win...........

Okay - Let me put it in simple terms so that the Zeta folks can understand.....

1. Steeeve has been saying for two seasons now how Alpha is the weaker conference.
2. I finally got tired of it and challenged him to a game.
3. Newport beat Scoregasm fair and square.
4. You come in and challenge me to a game so Steeeve can get his honor back and can continue to say how weak "Alpha" is......


Now that is what I find funny. That Steeeve first can't own up to his team being beat, and that he needs another team to come beat up on us..

Notice I never said Zeta was week, do they have weak teams yes, but so does Alpha. We each also have strong teams.

We had nothing to do with BigRagu challenging you, buddy. He saw that beating us gave you a big head and just wants to put you in your place.

And all the people who are saying I'm making excuses, I'm not. They won. I just don't think Newport is the better team.

Every conference has this "which league is stronger" argument and frankly it's just insane. beachsand kinda hit the nail on the head with his last statement...both have great teams, both have crappy teams. Personally, I think The Krieg is the best of all teams in the conference with the Funky Monkeys a close 2nd...but I'm on The Krieg so that's not a big surprise! I'm just confident that all things being equal nobody can beat us. That said, everything is definitely NOT equal. Take our next game for example, it appears that Liverpool just boosted and I'm assuming we can expect some bonus tokens to be used as well. I guess we'll see what happens. Giddy up!

I will not say which conference is stronger or weaker as they both have great teams. I guess we will find out in the championship game - The only place it really matters. All I know is that in scrimmage games earlier this year (granted it was early and a lot of teams have definitely upgraded):
