Now.. let's talk about this "waiting till friday" to schedule a game 'cuz i've got a flex point problem'
My opinion, the Roughnecks forfeit, and the ducks/midway game get tossed out, unless they get their shit together and schedule the damn game. That gives us 8 games and it's over on wednesday.
1. if you're going to put yourself in a tournament, YOU KNOW that it's going to cost you flex, and nobody wants to wait around twiddling their thumbs till you get your shit together.
2. if you are really having problems, you've got some custom equipment you can sell back. Flex problem solved.
3. If you sign up for something, FOLLOW THROUGH, and that means schedule or accept the damn friendly. We're in the middle of the friggin' season, and you tell me that the owners of both the Ducks and Monsters can't log on and take care of business?

WTF is the hurry? The Midway game is schedule for Thursday morning (not evening as mentioned). Didn't want to play on a game day w/ 2 different game plans. So it was either Tuesday or Thursday, I'm F'in busy M/T, so it was scheduled for Thursday. Plus, like I have to explain to you, I was away this weekend and didn't get the damn match up until today. Relax Yazoo and just worry about your own game.

It has been run with the utmost class and good will. But I'm a GLB veteran, and I'm well aware that class and goodwill is sometimes a "temporary" condition around these parts. The longer it takes us to prove that A2 is a far superior league, the less likely it is that the folks in A1 will accept the final verdict.
With 16 teams all scheduling within 3 days of each other, it just seems silly to wait 5 days or more for 1 team to resolve something that should have been resolved BEFORE the challenge was accepted.

I mean, this wasn't some long planned out thing where we sat their for a month figuring out brackets and everything like that, it was pretty much thrown together for fun (emphasis on fun). Also, the second statement you make would lead me to believe you hold some innate amount of animosity towards A1, which of course reveals the reasoning behind your angered bias towards something so trivial.
Quite literally, sir, I believe you need to take a "chill pill" and try to have fun. Although I suppose on the contrary, maybe being an "impatient bastard" as you so eloquently put is your synopsis of fun.
