Ok, I busted out the old League Projector. It's not perfect because there are bugs in it, but it's still relatively reliable and interesting debate.

Projected Alpha Game 8 Scores:
Bonn 47 - 24 Eurotrash
Manchester 42 - 6 Armagh
Boston 30 - 17 Massillon
Oslo 29 - 13 - Southampton
West Country 22 - 17 Whitechapel
Whitchurch 34 - 16 Endzone
PGL 76 - 24 Wolverhampton
Coventry 46 - 21 Helmsdale

Projected Zeta Game 8 Scores:
Birmingham 23 - 18 Edinburgh
Inverness 40 - 7 Bushy Park
Dallas 88 - 9 Newcastle
Brighton 41 - 10 Aarhus
Italian 85 - 10 Paris
Dublin 32 - 19 Dungannon
Stockholm 36 - 28 Bordeaux
Douai 98 - 10 Montreal

FYI, this was done using the Satchmo league projector that was released several seasons ago. The sheet is intended to run in Excel 2007, but he created an Excel 2003 sheet that has known errors through conversion, however it's still very similar to the 2007 version. Also, the only inputs are scores of games. It compares who you beaten/lost to and how much and uses common opponents, etc to hash out its projections.

Also keep in mind the can't detect massive mid-season changes in a team. So, that 24 points probably won't happen, but you never know.

95 int return in the 2nd killed us. Too bad we can't go for two in this game, otherwise we could have had a shot in OT.

Great game Birmingham. For once we had some bounces go our way. You guys are a killer to plan for. Hopefully we won't meet again

I am the agent of that player, and that play was the biggest of his career. An intense rivalry like Bonn - Eurotrash is always fun to "watch."

Good game, and good luck until we meet again...if we meet again as we never have in the playoffs.

Good game Dublin, I thought we had you but two TDs conceded in the last 6 minutes sucks the big one.

Great game guys, you planned very well and I'm glad it was a competitive game. We wanted to obviously keep our undefeated status, but this conference is simply too talented.

Good job and good luck!

Good stuff against Lyon in your game Bonn, you held their offense down pretty well which is no easy task. I hope you're allowed to go on in the West Europe tourney and that it's double elimination or something because playing Lyon in round 1 for you is pretty unfair.

First, to Euro, great game. Our D obviously made some huge plays at key times.

The 95 yd pick-6 to gives us the lead near the end of the 2nd Q. We also had an interception in the end zone to cut off a scoring drive. Your D played great and we didn't get anything really going until the TD drive in the 4th which locked it up. Our FB almost scored as time ended in the 1st half too, but he was run down and I even considered using his game boost on speed, but went with strength. I wonder if he would have scored with a +5 in speed. Overall, a fun game to watch and I was hollerin' at my laptop on the int return and the FB pass pay, one of them scored.

Secondly, about the scrimmage with Lyon. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but we gave up 12 sacks. 12? Jeez, that's crazy. We contained them, but they're a two agent team and their cohesiveness and solid builds is a tough match. I'll be interested to see how they do further in the tourney.

Congrats to Endzone on getting their first win. Big wins for Whitechapel, Oslo and Boston too.
