I was a little stunned you didn't get the joke the first time actually.

I must've been tired.
Looking at the timestamp, I had just got out of class when I posted this. That's probably why!

Any old excuse then

Haha. You try having Legislation go to 5:30, then tell me that!

Nah... Uni is a dim memory for me. Too busy to study anymore although I would like to start a Masters at some stage.

I am more worried about who is better in the Alpha conference... We will find out who is the best conference later

Exactly the reason I'm burning straight through law school. I know life will pile up for me when I get out, so I might as well get it now. If the loans don't kill me first!

Holy crap does it. You will never, ever go back if you stop. Or if you do it is 3 times the pain in the ass.

You speak the truth. It's also true for the: "well, I'll go to a local college for 2 years, then transfer into [insert state school here]" crowd. Might work that way 10% of the time.

The main problem (apart from living 370km away from the university) is that earning a salary is mighty hard to give up. If I was to return back for a Masters I'd want to do it full time and that means no work (in my main job) for that year.

I'll get round to it at some stage. Might go onto a scheme where you only take home 80% of your salary for four years and then you can have a year off and get the 80% you've saved back. That could work.

That's very true, too.

Well, yeah. I went back to finish up school when I was 25 and it killed me. Because I liked the school part but I was giving up a standard of living I didn't want to give up. Going from making real money to basically living in poverty to go to school full time wasn't a ton of fun.

That's the problem I'm facing. To do it by salary sacrifice will mean its another 4-5 years until I get back to uni. I'll likely be offically over the hill by then

School is overrated. I'm not sure I've used one thing I learned in college in my real job.

That's kind of hard to believe unless you are a supermodel?

If it's any consolation, there was the 'comparison' between Alpha's "sucky teams" and Zeta's "sucky teams"

Alpha's Soul Reavers, via a friendly scrimmage between the Los Cabolo Sharks & Williamsport Soul Reavers, won that battle..decisively.
