I agree. to an extent, gutted teams are just something we'll have to deal with.

well awhile back, i remember this league as very very competitive, but now almost half the games are stupid and not even worth playing. I would like to see some of the teams that cant compete leave but all the ones who do compete stay with the addition of new teams that can compete with AZN awesomeness

I say....how bout moving a gutted team...ALL the way to the bottom floor....then moving up all the teams in the ladder to compensate.

Thus meaning...all teams must start on the ground floor?

This works before the season. However, it's the mid season gut fests that DESTROY the leagues. I say start forcing people to play out their contracts, that way it will eliminate mid season guts.

Mid season, guts....fill blanks with CPUs...have the team CPU controlled...then it gets relegated down...with no players.

interesting idea.

I actually like that plan, but like I said in there: if we have to restructure the divisions and lose all those rivalries and fun personalities, I want some guarantees that the new system will be stable and not restructured again to help establish new rivalries.

I would be fine with revamping the system. But I don't want to see teams moved around all willy nilly like.
