The problem is that there are too many teams in GLB. I don't think that just because you have a player, you should automatically deserve to be on a team. If your build sucks, you don't get a contract, or you go to the c or b leagues for higher level developmental players.
You have a glut of teams, and as soon as someone goes .500, they sell it and the gutting/abandonment begins. Then someone else trying to get a team gets stuck with the gutted mess so they end up selling and a team goes through 3 or 4 owners in a single season. If it were harder to get a team, and easier to find good players, there would be much more competition in GLB.
