buckeyes, mambas, woolshed are all kinda in the same boat, and head to head will have to decide it. all were close games last season

Damn this is gonna be interesting. My money is on AAA#2 wins tourney by numbers and Lions win out. Not a bad group of Warriors to come out and play!!!!

Now I'm worried that a whole Tournie will be time consuming AND complicated. I'd suggest we use the Power Ranking formula after Week 6 and then just play 1 thru 9 against their 1 thru 9. Winner is the League with the better W/L record.

You have to get the top nine teams to agree first.

We dont expect to compete this season. The majority of our players are 5 to 8 levels below the top teams.

Hmm, great idea. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as Steve. I'm back at college now and am having enough trouble trying to find time to scout/plan for out regular games with all the pre-season football practices and lectures without having more matches to organise

We'll be organizing this as a One Game issue so there are no Multi-scrimmages to set up. You'd need to schedule and plan 1 game...and besides, the challenge will lose some of it's glitz and authenticity if top teams bow out - no respect to the rest but will be like an NFL Strike Season

Ex.

AAA#1 1st VS AAA#2 2nd

AAA#2 3rd Vs AAA#1 4th

This is just and idea of how it could be played. Also did it by the higher ranked team of each conf. should receive the home game. and 1v2 3v4 to keep the quality of the game even besides having 1v4 ect. JMO but it is only really two more games and they don't have to be scheduled the same day you can do it one game then a day to plane for the next game.

Which means we should wait till the power rankings come out week 8 then schedule the cross league tourney after we have idea of the 1-4 ranking at that time.

Again that's complicating it further. Best to Keep it to Week 12.5
