That whole game was like that. I could probably point to 10 or 15 plays like that.

My favorite was the series when we stopped them for -3 yards, then 0 yards, then they hit the WR in double coverege, with the QB running and throwing across his body.

Two plays later Iowa recovers their own fumble in a mess of traffic:

They finish the drive with a FG.

I'm not about to say that we didn't have similar plays, but it just seems like it was two good teams with guys making plays when they were needed and Iowa made one more than we did, and that was right after we took the lead at 10-9.

Does anybody think there should be an option to watch the game before you see the score?

There is you go to account settings

Hide Last Game Scores
Enabled

When you look at your player click watch you won't see the scores, maybe its different for owners though I don't know

I like the pass play there. That play would make me mad too but maybe Iowa's QB is just a playmaker or maybe he's just a little crazy.

I never changed my settings at all and I can not see the scores at first. Glad I can't. I like watching the games.

Tipped passes-turned-WR catches are a common issue right now on GLB, dunno why. Happens to us a lot as well...although not quite under those circumstances yet luckily. Jizzy is a playmaker though, he was back-to-back league leader in his time at Buenos Aires for a reason.

Billsaidsux,

If I make a DE named Shagga Son of Dolf, will the Rawkers sign him? He comes with his own catchphrase "Shagga will cut off your manhood and feet it to the goats."

GRRM reference ftw!

A lot to cover here:

1. LTD - Thanks, I'm not as smart as I first appear on the internet. I probably could have figured that out myself if I wasn paying attention.

2. And just to be clear, I'm not complaing about the plays in that game. That is how things happen in real football. There was a thread last season in one of the main conferences about hwo ridiculous the plays turned out to be and his evidence was a spot-on description of the Tyree play in the SB against the undefeated pats. pretty funny stuff. It took me a minute to figure it out, but man some people swallowed the entire hook. Good times.

3. Aariafromarty: Impressive. I went to georgia tech (nerd credential, as if I need one on an imaginary football site) and I've never even heard of this guy and he is apparently quite popular. I think I need to go buy some books....
