Oh, I know gutted teams are working on it but he is right now that I think about it. I took over a gutted team at the end of season three and the talent level I could manage was... well, just about where you guys are. The difference is everyone else is a lot better than the teams I faced when we first fell to AA

311? Jesus, that's just not fair. I have noticed a ton of high scores around the league, what the hell is up with that?

Gutted teams still suck, everybody else got better.

With the utmost respect, us gutted teams are working with what we got, we're trying to get better, who gives a damn, Williamsport got blown out, like we didn't know it was going to happen. We scored!!!! that's what counts

Don't get me wrong- people who take over and try to build something respectable out of gutted teams are 10x cooler than people who dump teams suck balls. There is also the team in the league that has only one human player left, and that guy (the owner) has been inactive forever.

At least whoever gets Los Cabalos will get oodles of money to recruit/build stadium sections with.

aaaaand another blowout....I am glad those are out of the way and we can start playing some football. GL to both of those teams as you rebuild. As that is a hell of a project.

I do hate that the Zeta gets those games against Los Cabos and Brisbane, they are going to skew your players stats so badly. The Alpha just does not have that club to pad our best players numbers. Not that I want to pad numbers but it will only lend credence to the ridiculous theory that the Zeta is somehow better.

lol well stats-wise I dont think anyone ever decided that Zeta was better just based off that but yes....it does skew the numbers like a mofo. OUr kicker has had 75 XP attempts. That is retarded. But the head to head matchups is all we got to go on really and you for sure have 2 wins for this season assuming these guys dont recruit anymore.

The statistical skewing will hurt those Zeta rankings almost irreparably, because Brisbane's going to improve leaps and bounds by the end of the season. If someone finally gets Los Cabolo, they will too. But still, most of the league-wide statistical trophies will go to Zeta this year, and that's not quite right. We play Brisbane in Week 6 and Los Cabolo in Week 13, so we'll see.

And I'd like to take the time to congratulate the Chinese on a game well-played. You all have tons of talent on that roster, and you all are going to be tougher than a lot of teams will anticipate. You'll make the playoffs this season; I don't doubt that at all. Good game, guys and gal.

Don't worry you can "pad" your stats against Williamsport. Zeta isn't better, it just has more rebuilding teams to pad stats against

Brisbane is going to be a HUGE work in progress. Recruiting people this season isn't an option, and we are going to be blown out all season long. By the end of this season we will be bringing more players over at the respected levels, and I think come season 3 will be a very respectable team.

We have a very competitive top rated playoff team in Canada and another one run by one of our other members. At the end of this season we will be shuffling players amongst all the teams depending on contracts and free agents willing to join a team during a build phase is going to be a difficult journey but one we expected when we signed up for a team early last season.

I understand people have mixed feelings of Brisbane and want to say thank you for everyone's support so far and understanding.

Dammit, I wish we didn't screw-up and lose our team. At least FPQA would hold people under a 100 points per game.

Thanks CD. The Bandits have been trying for two seasons to keep our chemistry up and develop a good Offensive and defensive AI. Hopefully our "Gal" can put us on the map this year! You guys have a great team and we'd love to have a rematch down the line...hopefully the second season. good luck the rest of the way...Oceania AA#2 is a very cool place to play!!

You've got it, my friend! I'd be very happy for a rematch in Season 6. Especially if the awful restructuring ideas win...

Man, I hate, hate, hate the restructuring idea. I just don't like it. The current system works. Having a gutted team sucks and all but man, it would suck worse for like 12 teams to leave the league because their talent was deemed not compatible. Game planning is a big part of the game but so is recruiting.

I totally agree with you there, Brian!

Here's the result that I'd HATE to see: http://goallineblitz.com/game/poll.pl?poll_id=2.

Personally, I really like the idea of the NCAA "schedule choosing" option. To be able to pick a few of your games on your schedule. I think that would enable at least, some of us gutted teams to give ourselves a fair shake at some wins. OBVIOUSLY the non-chosen ones, we'd probably still get destroyed
