Okay, yes I love the Popes as personal friends because they took my sh@t talking so well. Here is my top 5 in Alpha:

1. Admirals (sorry CoachF, I know you are superstitious)
2. Dons
3. Asylum
4. Foxes
5. Tigers.

I don't really care much what happens in Alpha just be the crap out of Zeta. Good luck to all and this is only my own opinion. Popes, I love your owner and GMs, but just don't see it this season. Hopefully you can prove me wrong.

It's ok Bachus. No one saw anything coming from us last season. We are fine. I'm just hoping we don't finish 0-16.

Are stray Comets welcome again this season?

But of course. Stray comets are always welcome.

And honestly I want to know what people see in Arkham. The reason I ask is because you haven't seen them play anybody. Any insights into this team, considering they are our first game, are more than welcome. So those that picked them in the top 2-3, would you please care to expound on why they are perceived to be so good so that I may better be able to prepare for them.

Arkham is mostly a passing team....most 3rd and 4th year teams are better defensing the run rather than passing in my opinion. I was looking at what they did at the end of last season also. They to appear to run inside/outside about equal. They appear to throw around 80% middle and 20%long. If you get two good middle distance passes within 3 downs, you have a great chance of getting a first down. You just keep moving the ball down and don't need big plays.

Well thanks Bachus. I am hoping I saw enough to put up a decent offense against them. We'll see when 9CST rolls around how the dice fall and if all of our guys end the game with about 10% energy left.

My game today in A league ended in a route by me where on energy I favor backups over starters except for the end of 2nd qtr, 4th qtr and ovt. Everyone right now has basically the same stamina as last season for players since this new energy thing just happened. Energy wise my QBs are in the 80's, RBs and FBs in the 50's. All O line in the 80's. TE's(I have 4 and they all play special teams) in the 50s. WRs range from 50's to 80's.

On D: The line is in the 80's. LBs in the 80's and secondary in the 50's.

Conclusion sir: It doesn't matter where they end the game since it is reset to 100 before next game. The important thing ending game energy tells you is where you need to set your in/out energy levels for players. Last season I ran 98 out and 95 back in for energy....I was having success late in the game with my starters playing against backups. This season I have changed things some, sorry will not tell what and where, but you can get an idea over the next several games by changing your energy sub levels as to what works best.

and just to let you know, my lowest energy level for any player after the game was 51. We have all built player similar up until this point.

I have 2 level 1 players that I did not put much in stamina when made, they both are around 25 energy after first game.

I play The Draftniks at 1 pm Monday, wish me luck and I hope they don't score over 100.

Good luck and thanks for the input. I was reading all kinds of horror stories about lots of players ending in the 40% or below range.

Thank you for the luck. Need it badly. The Draftniks just beat Amsterdam.

What does the Draftniks beating Amsterdam have to do with anything?

Edit: I'm dumb and just saw the post before yours. All I can say about our game is that Colin Klein is looking forward to it. Good luck
