I guess I'll think of something, pending mod approval. I mean, I said I'm not broke. But I'm not going to be betting a decent amount of money over how well a GLB team does.

Also, FWIW to the readers (haha), I didn't intend for this to become some pseudo-flame topic. I figured it would be a fun way to kill time before classes this morning.

Didn't you learn from the Flames vs Cobra Kai bet that the mods nor admins ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPROVE OF ANY BETS?? It's illegal. Do you think they want their site shut down that is making $100K a month so that you can have a $100 bet "approved" by them?

Not going to get any approval for bets. It is in the rules too. Check that list by tpat. I hope this helps.

Vegas' Take for Season 5 APL
1) USAORG Legionnaires
Love them or hate them, they are the team to beat in all of APL. Although like last season a slip up might occur.

2) The Last Gunfighters of Texas
I am very impressed with this team coming from AA to the Pro's in 2 seasons. Must be excellent builds and gameplanning.

3) Tsavo Maneaters
Tsavo is a team that is hard to predict. They have the talent and can go on stretches where they roll of victories and then lose a game they shouldn't.

4) Zambia Zombies
Very talented team, looking for a great season 5.

5) Ghana Rhea Infection
GRI will come out and do some major battling this season. A team that will have improved greatly from last season.

6) Angola Blood Diamonds
With the new recruits coming on board the ABD get back into the playoffs.

7) Cairo Emperors
Very solid team in the past, I do have a feeling they drop this season.


8) Babylon Bombshells
Now that Chet and Mali are gone, this is my favorite team. I look for them to sneak into the playoffs.

9) Durban Donkeys
Big imporivement from last season, but not enough to make it in the playoffs.


10) Zambia Hungry Hungry Hippos
I have always been impressed with their D, but they couldn't pull off enough victories for the playoffs.


11) Russian Tractor
Where not in AAA anymore Toto.

12) Tangiers Cape Buffalo
Solid club, put missing the playmakers.

Everybody is selling the Donkeys short. Understandable but we still haven't finished recruiting. All about the quality, baby.

Everybody seems to expect Cairo to be out of the top 4.

All I can say, the season's unpredictable. We didn't expect Durban to be 12th last season, didn't expect Conkrary to lose so many times either. As Tsavo would say, beware the footsteps from behind.
