If only. Not a whole lot of competition left this season. Might be a bit boring. There are maybe two or three games total to really look forward to.

I am glad you made that a big maybe and are crossing your fingers, 'cause the Inmates are going to do what we can to prevent that from happening.
Unfortunately, since most of our agents are fantasy football fanatics, this game is taking a back seat as the NFL season has started and these guys are quite busy with that. Between news/analysis articles, radio shows, providing advice for others on the message boards, managing their own teams and having some sort of real life, we will have a lot less time spent on game planning this season.

Nice game Wollongong. You guys jumped on us for an early lead and had our defense scrambling. Fortunately for us, the D settled down and we were able to get enough offense going to pull out a victory.
Good luck the rest of the way (at least until we meet in the playoffs).

A few of the players on the inmates, myself included, are writers at FantasyFootball.com and between writing and answering questions on message boards, etc, the time is limited. I still make sure to find time to wander over here every day though.

It's late to post this- but good luck to everyone. The Assassins have had a pretty tough go of it last season and this off-season. Our owner kinda left us high and dry and myself, Superman, and callmegoose have been trying to keep it together. We lost several good players this off-season and had a really hard time getting free agents. But we have put together a pretty good group of guys now, we just are trying to find the system that works for us while Superman tries to buy the team. We still have Adam "The 2,000 Yard Man" Fletcher in the backfield and Noles Dynasty sacking Quarterbacks so I am confident we can compete to be in the playoffs again.
That being said- blowing a 4th Quarter lead to the Super Frogs in the first game is a hell of a way to start. gg Amarillo.

As David said, it isn't just managing a team. There are other aspects to FF. Some of these guys get paid to do the things they do, so it is more of a job (though most them would say it is an obsession and the money is secondary). I know for a fact that some of the articles that are written take over four or five of research to be done even before the first word is written.
BTW, what type of leagues are you in, if I may ask? I would like to find a few leagues where I could be done in five minutes. Some of the hybrid dynasty leagues I am in go well beyond the draft with blind bidding waiver wire, FCFS waivers, contract declarations, salary cap implications, etc. Add in the team concept of ownership (GM, HC, OC, DC and owner) and the communication that comes with it, there is a lot more than five minutes involved.
But, I digress. Here's to a great season for everyone, win or lose.

Oceania AA #1 Alpha season V outlook
just gona use the current league standings and im bored cuz favre sucks
Orlando
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=963
chemistry shows a shake up but only for the better from the looks of their roster
hard not to call them the favorites with their levels and depth
Taylor
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=959
looks like they are returning their entire squad but thats not really a plus in this league as most of their roster is level 24
Oregon
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=575
welcome to the bigger leagues, they've made some adjustments for the bigger show but still lack veteran players
Danish
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=954
didnt seem to resign or sign anyone with that 100 in all chemistry, they have solid starters with decent backups
Amarillo
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=966
their offense looks strong but has some noticeable holes in his D and their lack of backups might show later in the games and their coordinator is an idiot
New Caledonia
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4637
another squad of 100's in chemistry not to mention they are signed through season 6,
of course that may be due to the fact they all have the same last name. 20's wont get you a championship this year
Guam
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1785
Went CPU....so who knows, they are a full team with lots of veterans
Firmament
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=967
yet another 100 chemistry team with solid players....dont see many veteran studs, maybe they are waiting to boost...although if they are i have no idea why
Melbourne
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=965
owner issues but have solid management and strong players
Fiji
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=957
great chemistry but yet another team with not enough veterans
Cheap
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4672
from their chemistry they are making moves but dont expect an impact this season
Fresno
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1050
chemistry another issue here as well as the vets you need to be a contender
Darwin
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=964
not sure what happened but its gona be a long season
Wagga
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=584
a strong contender with the help of great coaching
Papeete
http://goallineblitz.com/game/roster.pl?team_id=958
rebuilding....and might want to choose a new name, but stick with the bulldogs cuz 3 of them is just the right amount
Eastern
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=955
yikes
Zeta? do ur own shit

I'll be looking forward to our game, as well as Melbourne [our rival]. I wish we had Portland on our schedule too.
Careful what you wish for
