think it was a matter of how many team got demoted/promoted. was an odd amount with an excess to one conference thus a team or 2 had to switch sides on promotion and happened to be one of them.

How big was the ship? His jumping must be amazing.

Bort decided to promote us and change conf. i guess he thought we were too strong for the east? who know what Bort thinks. I know if you ask to get switched to a diff conf they tell you they don't do that. I guess as long as it suits them, they can do it.
