D.C. Sonics vs. Dallas Horns West 24-10 Horns

These two are looking to get back to .500. I like the Horns here and I think they should get a win.


Austin Longhorns vs. Los Angeles Sharks West 19-16 Austin

Two really well matched teams here. Austin really must win this game if they want anything to happen from the work they put into the off season.


Omaha Mavericks vs. Tallahassee Seminoles West 27-24 Tallahassee

Tallahassee has a second test early in the season already smashing up Sphere they should be expecting a win today over Omaha. Omaha will need to get the rushing attack working to have any chance at hold off Tallahassee.


Texas Roughnecks vs. San Francisco Stonecutters West 21-17 Roughnecks

I really like this match up. Roughnecks are a tough team and the Stonecutters are a up and coming force. This game will say a lot about where these two teams will end up at the end of the year.


Oklahoma City Outlaws vs. The Real Austin Longhorns West 14-0 Real Austin

Real Austin moves to 3-1 over the Outlaws. Outlaws are on a really bad run and need to get the ship righted and back on course. Right now it looks like it will be a along season for them

Caribbean Sphere vs. K-Town Hates Phil West 24-21 Sphere

Sphere has a rough one today playing K-Town at home. It will be a test of the Sphere secondary and of the K-Town front 7. I would avoid putting any cash anywhere near this one, way to close to call.


Houston Orangebloods vs. Chicago "MB" Bears West 17-14 MB

Well it’s a broken record by now but god damn yet another great matchup. I really like what MB has been doing and I think they can get a win here on the road.


French Lick Dirty Whorns vs. D.C. Warriors East 24-14 DC

DC has had some hard times already this year. Look for them to turn it all around today with a win over the hardened Whorns.


Cleveland Greyhounds vs. Columbus Spartans East 20-14 Spartans

One of these two duds gets a win…that is unless they tie.


Colorado Storm vs. Chicago CBMB Bears East 21-19 CBMB

Storm is dead to me. Goooo CBMB.


Care Bears vs. Pennsylvania Lions East 26-20 Care Bears

I like the care bears here, they are a very well balanced team and seem to have everything working in a well oiled fashion.


New Jersey Vikings vs. Chicago Grizzlies East 28-7 Grizzlies

Grizzlies have this one, slapping the Vikings with a fourth straight loss.


Minnesota Drillers vs. West Bend Warlocks East 17-13 Drillers

Clearly the warlocks have a problem with game planning. On paper they should be 3-0. I like the Drillers to continue the bitch slapping for the Locks.


Orlando Pirates vs. Miami Sharks East 27-14 Pirates

Lolpirates.


Chicago LMG vs. NEW YORK STEEL-HEADS East 24-17 Stealheads

Poor LMG they will drop to a sad looking 1-3 that’s really not that sad.

Willie Mays-Hayes here, CB & Defensive Coordinator for the Austin Longhorns. Like the Sharks we have misplaced the keys to the car on offense (13 pts in 3 games), but our defense is playing well despite being on the field all the time. Just need some pick-6s to help out. I'm trying not to heckle my OC too much, but I'm havin too much fun.

Omaha Mavericks played well last week. We forced 2 INTs, and forced 2 fumbles (but the ball didn't bounce our way on the recovery). That being said, Large Arm is a damn efficient QB who always seemed to get just enough on 3rd down completions.

The Sharks are in trouble today, but no way these teams combine for 35 points. This will be an old school defensive struggle. I'm calling 10-6 Longhorns (maybe even 9-3).

Anyway.... Been lurking & enjoying the predictions. Keep it up.

PS : I'm not the owner or anything, but how the heck did someone call one team the Austin Longhorns and someone else call another The Real Austin Longhorns. That's weak sauce.

The Seminole Blitz through the West Conference, the surprise fall of Sphere and a desperate, yet perhaps "finest hour" for Omaha at hand...while the red menace of the Bears and far off marines of the Roughnecks are still on the sidelines.

This season has the makings of epic drama!
