GG Dakota Dragons, that was a wild back and forth game. Seasoned powerbacks have started becoming a tackling issue for me...I don't know why, but I'm never prepared for it.

Crazy sequence:

It was a good game decided by a couple of plays. I was frustrated by the missed chip shot by our kicker early in the game and then it was kind of cheesy your kicker missed the XP to keep it a TD and FG game. The game had a little bit of everything. HAHA made a couple more plays then we did. If we didn't allow the first down on the first play of the previous drive, maybe the 37 seconds would have been enough to keep our drive going. A lot of little things throughout the game. I hope we play again. Your team makes for fun games.

There was talk back in the day that a turnover is often followed by another one on the very next play, more often than it should to be just coincidental. I don't see it as much anymore but this has the same feel to it.

It was interesting because we don't really focus on creating turnovers. We spend our SPs on other attributes because we feel we can usually hang with anyone. On the flip side, we do work on taking care of the ball, so it was crazy those two plays happened back to back like that. Then later HAHA having the opportunity to go up by 12 with an XP was negated by a missed kick. I was waiting for that to happen when I was watching the game. Of course, next drive we score, convert the 2 pointer and it is a 3 point game. It was a strange game in that there a lot of little things going on that kept either team from opening it up. Missed makeable FGs by both teams at times where ensuing play calling would have changed. Of course the punting on 4th and inches in opponent territory by both teams when either team should have been going for it (that is a messed up game logic issue that will probably never be fixed).

I like good, close games. I like it more when they follow what happens on a real football field a little closer as far as decision making and general outcomes. I don't think either of these teams need any help staying in games, so what are the odds the exact perfect defense is called with the exact perfect turnover roll happening on successive plays? The same game played with the same setting by both teams with a system in place with more logical sequence of events might very well still turn out to be 23 or 24 to 20 HAHA, but it does continue to compound my belief there are some settings in the code to push for certain outcomes in certain situations rather than allowing for the game to be played out as it should.

I do want to be clear that I think HAHA deserved to win. I am just bothered by the way everything played out for both teams at times. At what point is it part of the game and when does it become it could be better? That is my complaint for the day. Carry on.

So I admittedly know nothing about this tier. And since seasoned and journeyman will be seeing quite a bit of each other this season, can anyone give me a basic rundown? Who are the teams to watch out for?

GG Music City. Your RBs were tough to stop early on. I feared the worst.

GG Swamp Donkeys, it looked like I could do anything going up 35-0 really quickly. And then for the last 2/3rds of the game you outscored me 21-14. I think you should look at your catch-up tactics and maybe make that your normal offense?

GG doobas. Acheron was definitely a tough outing. This was our 3rd tough one in a row (HAHA, Rock City and Acheron). it would had sucked to go 0-3. Glad we were able to hold on.

Ouch, that's a rough schedule to start the season.

GG Music City - Your backs were tough to stop. We were fortunate to sneak away with that one.

GG Dakota - I didn't expect that outcome.

GG Falcons - We kept Julio under wraps and your HB went off.

GG FBU. Your crazy blitzing defense worked really well in the 1st half, but couldn't recapture that in the 2nd half.
