And after todays game the gunslinger qb takes rises to third on hof http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/hof. Just want to thank bhall for making it possible to show that a pass power focused qb can do very well.

Ya unfortunately we are gonna fall short of the playoffs so he may fall back a little in the end but have been improving quite a bit reaching top chem and vet status on out oline.

I'd prefer a more efficient QB with better TD/INT ratio, Completion %, YPA but maybe that's just me. Candice has been the 2nd best passer in GLB2 to Saul this year.

Pretty sure he vastly outplayed Candice. Our run game is why we lost.
We also haven't thrown a screen all season so I'm sure that plays a nice part in completion %.
Tough so say how the ints played in early in the season. Our pro oline at 50 chem might have been supplying more hurries than now. Either way we look a million times better offensively than early on. Maybe next season I can keep enough core pieces of the offense together so we don't run into much problem early on. Gonna be tough with the salary cap hit though as everyone reaches vet level.

Except it didn't win that game.

If you are going to post a replay saying it can win games, then post in a game he actually won.
Candice has been a more efficient passer this year, even if you remove screens. I would take Candice any day of the week.

Candice is the 2nd best passer (in vet) in the game... I'd maybe give you Belgarath in some specific situations over Candice (maybe late game situations due to heart), but there is a pretty wide gap there between them and Gannon. You outplayed Candice in one H2H game? Terrific. Candice has outplayed Saul a few times H2H, but I'm not dumb enough to think Candice is better.
If I decided to throw in the 5 yard line, I'd have AT MINIMUM 20 more TDs this season, and a QBR not far behind Saul. Heck, maybe I'll change up my redzone O against weaker teams, just to pass Gannon and Belg the rest of season.

Meh I've watched both pretty extensively. Tough to compare their efficiency. It does seem like more interceptions occur middle of qb/wr because of his power which seems stupid to me.

Ya my predictablility with running. Haven't changed anything since logzilla. But it wasn't Gannon who lost it. He played great. Had nearly 700 yards of passing.

I shouldn't have ran the pass D I did against you... some of it was good, but some pass D plays were not good to call... I don't know why I threw in some defensive plays that I did. You might win, but I highly doubt he will throw that many when we re-match next season.
We held very-high scoring DA and Logzilla to a combined 31 points so far this season... so we've played equal or better passing teams with better results

removing screens hes at a 57.8% comp rating to rich's 56.9% so less than a 1% difference. However our big play % is 24.7% rich 20.9% Candice id take the trade. that play was just an example cause im lazy. there are tons where its made a difference like this http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/209529/1747621 this drive http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/207567/1278401 or that should fit your criteria better

why do people keep removing screens in comparison examples?
People run what they run
If I didn't run screens, my WRs (especially Javier and Latimer) would have different, more possession-based builds... and I'd be even more focused on possession TEs than I am now, possibly running two S*s there, so that's a moot point

Not even sure what to make of this. If I just passed every down we probably win. Regardless I don't care. We had no shot of being #1 regardless of the outcome of that game. But Gannon outplayed Candice pretty easily in every facet.

Ya we could probably throw screens and stuff. We have a pretty fast oline actually. But I don't like the unpredictability between the QB and WR. Especially this season with us. More beneficial to do what we are doing.

Because screens build up your % pretty easily. Even if you fall over 100% of the time it is quite deceiving. I bet had I thrown out Corner Threat this season that the YPA would be pretty well in Gannon's favor. I say it after every game I need to remove that but I just never do. Sometimes it works out but a lot of the time we end up with 1-5 yard plays.
Also, we don't have possession builds. Anywhere on our offense. So that comparison seems random. Speaking of TE's. We have 1 and he isn't a superstar. Probably a far underutilized superstar position I have been missing for seasons.
Anyways....HoF puts Gannon ahead. Gannon outplayed Candice head to head. I'll take the two and run with it. We can play what if's all day long.
