Build to stop the pass. But you gotta have a few run specialist players so you can plug n play on the depth chart when you face run teams.

Was very hit or miss last week with my picks so hopefully I'm on my game this time around.

#1 Panty Obliterating Rectal Ninjas vs. #4 Mannheim Steamrollers

I'm a little tired of picking PORN games as games of the week and there's another good matchup this week so I'll say this PORN Steamrollers matchup is the 2nd best of the week. PORN plays against a very good all run team in Mannheim. Seeing as PORN hasn't played too many all run teams this season I look forward to seeing what they can or can't do. Mannheim has been on a good win streak and has played stout defense for pretty much every game except their loss against Salty earlier in the season. Let's see how they can do against PORN's passing offense. Don't see this one being terribly high scoring since Mannheim should be able to kill some clock with the all rush offense. PORN wins 26-10

#2 I've STILL Never Had Sex vs. #10 Atlanta Falcons

Got the Virgins game wrong last time so let's see what I have for these virgin losers this time. Currently best rushing offense in the tier plays one of the better passing offenses in rookie. Virgins have a very good defense so far and Atlanta has had some really impressive games and some stinkers at the same time. Don't think Virgins will get upset here but it'll probably not be a blowout unless Atlanta picks some really dumb defensive plays to counter the run. Virgins 24-7

#3 The Salty Runback vs. #6 Ashland Dockers

This is my game of the week. The previously unbeaten Dockers (and their lolDefense from last game) vs. the always stout Runback. Don't really see how this game won't be a close one but it's rookie so you never know. Ashland had the previously best defense in rookie until they blew that out of the water last game. Salty has a legit claim to one of the best if not the best defense in rookie right now in their place. I think the difference here is going to be very small and I'm not really sure where to go. I'll say Ashland wins in a tight one 17-13

#5 Arizona State Sun Devils vs. #14 Gliwice Lions

Two all run teams here will make things interesting but I have to take the S* power of ASU over Gliwice in this one. ASU 24-7

#7 Bloody Slaughterhouse vs. #18 Portland Ronin

Bloody is coming off a disappointing loss to PORN in what was a decent first half but then just fell apart in the end. They play against a struggling Ronin team who has picked it up a little bit as of late. Don't really see Ronin standing much of a chance here if Bloody plays to their potential. Bloody 21-3

#8 No Name vs. #27 Soneca Hands of Fate

Think this is going to be a mismatch. No Name is a very good team that has given some top teams trouble while Soneca has struggled to stay above .500 and has struggled badly on offense for a good amount of games. No Name takes this one easily 30-10

#9 Omaha BEEF vs. #20 USA American Pride Ballers

BEEF coming off a big win against Ashland plays the struggling USA. USA has dropped their last two games in an unconvincing manner and got destroyed by a good all run team and now they play a good all run team with a decent defense. Unless USA shows me something they haven't shown yet then I don't see this one being too close. BEEF win 34-10

#17 San Diego Sperm Whales vs. #20 Santa Fe Gunslingers
The Whales are a fairly balanced team with an offense that was struggling pretty hard early in rookie, but a damn good defense. I don't know much about the Gunslingers, first glance they seem to be a mostly passing team and they either win big in blow outs or don't score at all. Both teams are big in on blitzing early and often. I'm giving the edge to Sperm Whales because .... balance!! WOOOOOOO, and since the Gunslingers are either win big or lose big I'm gonna say Whales by 23.

I think that is a very fair assessment. I definitely think the Salty vs. Ashland game will be better than this one and therefore is rightly the "game of the week." I don't the Steamroller has much of a chance in this one for two reasons:

1) PORN has an experienced coaching staff that should know how to shut down a running game pretty well.

2) My unboosted defense has hardly any points spent in pass defense skills at this point in its development. I'm expecting the defense to have probably it's worse game of the season in this one.

Final score prediction from me: 28-0 PORN. (I might score if I get lucky...pun intended)

This is tough. I keep wanting to put some time into any of these games but Daredevil came out on Netflix today and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Looks like you pretty much nailed it. Maybe you should be doing these predictions. Not many people seem to appreciate it when I pick against them and are wrong.

Well played Salty. Looks like Ashland's defensive build concept has caught up to them earlier than I anticipated. Could be a slide down the ladder from here unless the offense carries.

The Falcons are sneaky good. No Name underestimated them too and got punished for it.

I've been saying the Falcons are underrated all season. Figures they're in PORNs division

I'm sure the Sonecas can't get out of your head, but I think the team is named Seneca Hands of Fate.
