I'm sure people will find combos that outclass others, but that's inevitable in a competitive multiplayer game.

Edit: Also, the flavor text was written by Pallow who has about as much understanding of the actual mechanics as you guys have, so I wouldn't put TOO much weight on the wording.

Is there going to be an Alpha once the last reveal is done or is it just going straight into perma-Beta?

I'd guess there will be an alpha testing phase but I really don't know.

IF that happens then MAYBE you might have a point but it hasnt and he is shooting your argument so far down the drain that you might as well just stay down there.

Except it did happen and he lost 16 sacks

Ya rookie teams aren't the hippest to the fun. Plus they need the builds and to know who they are playing.

Really? How do you create a WR with 90 hands?

How else would you pull off the hundred hand slap?

do 50 hands twice?

the 99 CiT and 99 hands and 99 grip is interesting - I gave up trying to make it when it looked like a 1 sp 1 stamina 1 awareness was going to be required

Grab a copy of Mary Shelley's book, a shovel, and head to the cemetery...

I didn't even try when I was talking about that lol, I assumed it would be 1 stamina 1 awareness with Superstar + Workhorse + Whatever-the-WR-Trait-for-Receiving-Caps-Is

Maybe it would end up being 90/90/90 or something but the principle is the same. They could have 25 sprinting at veteran for all I cared at that point.

the triple 99 isn't impossible to make, if you say screw speed you get a lot of points

Not to necro stuff a couple pages back, but Laggo's comments on completion % got me to thinking more on what to do to increase it.

To hell with CiT and Grip. I just want more Hands and Pass Tech. Clevelands at 57.1% right now this season so far. If I eliminated drops, he'd be throwing at 65.7%. We drop 8.6% of our passes. That's 8.6% of our plays that fail without the coverage guy even being involved.

Had to use slow built along with superstar to get the triple 99 WR, but it's possible.

Yeah that's basically the WR I'm talking about.

Yukiko is also at 80 pass technique now and (ancedotal evidence) I feel like I've been seeing more and more 70% completion games as that went from 70 to 80. I've actually been kind of on the fence about whether I should just keep going technique to 90 before I do anything else, or keep accuracy on a similar level (like I originally planned).

Cleveland's also at 80. Feels like our completion % has gone down noticeably.

Of course, after the Bowlers game tomorrow, we get our two worst league opponents back to back, so I'm sure we'll have a couple 70% type games with 8-10 YPA.
