I've had a lot better success running up the gut out of 1st down and 3rd and long than I have with those "and short" plays where they know it is coming.

I haven't seen much of any 5-2 from anyone besides myself and Doinitin. (then again how many people are gonna go 5-2 versus me? ) So I don't think that is it. I am just talking about in regular passing situations on dives. But I think it may just be the large chunk of skill points we just got because the more i look nothing has really changed outside of some better reactions.

There's going to be alot of fun interceptions this season.

I implemented it after seeing how effective it was in shutting down my inside run.

I'm even more impressed when a blitzing LBer gets a quick jump and shuts down the outside rush by hitting the QB before he pitches the ball.
