It has to be a joke because, you know, it's really dumb that the current best team in the game has the "Current World Champion" trophy. I would contend that it is the most important tourney in the game because it's like a martial arts title, you win it and try to hold onto it. You are constantly playing top 25 or even top 10 (OTR is ranked #8) teams.

This thread says your wrong. This thread says a lot of GLB'ers really do care, even though they don't like to admit it.

The trophy is not just about e-honor. It's also about the holder of the trophy getting to call some shots. That's the benefit of taking it if/when you get the chance. You may not get another shot, and whether you do depends on someone else's decision entirely.

It's not supposed to be a nice, relatively fair league championship.

Yea just like if MEM gets RNG'd by Drygerian, I doubt it will happen but if MEM loses it's because the RNG, I'll make a thread in GLB main about it too.
